EcoTek Pest Defense

Review: I have recently been denied a job by [redacted] based on collection call on my credit report. After [redacted] made me an offer and later rescind that offer because of the open collection call in my credit. After I learned about this, I requested my credit report from Experian and found a collection item from [redacted].

I disputed this item with Experian and after their investigation they reported the following -

IF FRAUDULENT CHARGES WERE MADE ON YOUR ACCOUNT, THE CREDIT GRANTOR MAY NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTACT YOU TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER. THE CREDIT GRANTOR REQUESTS THAT YOU CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY AT ###-###-####

I just spoke with [redacted] at [redacted] at the number provided by the Experian and they told me that I owe $155 from EcoTek Pest Defense and in order to remove this item from my credit, I will have to pay this $155 to [redacted].

I remember having services from EcoTek Pest Defense in year 2010 but I pre-paid for my yearly services in advance and never resumed it after a year.

It seems like an unauthorized charge from EcoTek Pest Defense and they have put collection on this unauthorized charge, which I do not owe.Desired Settlement: An apology from EcoTek Pest Defense for not providing the services for which they were paid in advance.

And explanation for this unauthorized change of $155 and the proof that I owe this amount.
