This was not the first time we did work for Susan and she was always happy with us and our workThis particular job was a nightmare from the beginning, she wanted to purchase all of the materials herself including appliances all to be installed by us with the exception of the cabinets and flooring
Long story short we spent countless of extra hours at her home working, unpaid, due to her inability to follow instruction already and were not going back for something that was not our responsibility when all of our work was completed and satisfactoryHere is what happened, she allowed the people that installed the carpets to move the well water pump that we installed and it started leakingWe explained that it had been installed and working properly for weeks without any problems and that she should have the carpet installers take care of it since they are the ones that moved itWe ended up going back and handling it, or should I say tried to for her, bought the fittings and what was needed and fixed it, or so we thoughtAfter more attempts we then insisted that she needed to call the carpet installers to remedy it and to remind them that they owed us money for using and filling our dumpster as wellWe have thousands of dollars in labor and some materials unpaid for by Ms*** that we have chosen to not request so we just don't have to deal with her anymore, even final payment was not the right amount, again due to her unwillingness to LISTENMike let her pay by buying us $worth of stuff from Menards on her credit card and we even waited for a 11% rebate sale so she could get a few more hundred dollars back (all she did non-stop was complain about not having any money) and she somehow botched that up as well after I spent HOURS putting together an order of stuff that we didn't need but would use at some point and literally invited her to see the list, via email, through the Menards website and all she had to do was click order it and it would have been done and we ended up receiving not even half of the order which was worth about $1200.00. We bent over backwards for her, got her thousands more from her insurance company to help pay for the project that she didn't know she could get and she was happy with everything we did for her and at no point did she show any signs of being unsatisfied with our workOur work was complete and satisfactory or she wouldn't have given final payment or should I say partial final payment which by the way I did call her about and requested a copy of her receipt and explained that we didn't receive all of it and she just kept telling us that some of it was special order which nothing should have been special order as it was all common tools and supplies everyone usesWe owe her nothing, she needs to call the carpet people for messing up her pump and if she didn't handle it right away and ruined anything in her new kitchen that is her fault as well not our and we have NO clue why in the world she thinks we owe her a bed, even more confused on that oneCustomers like her are the reason why there should be a website like yours but reverse, who not to contract for! Please let me know if you need any physical documentationIt may be a bit as I am dealing with a multitude of unforeseen obstacles at this immediate time and I need to get 1099's and other tax work done as well before the end of this month but should hopefully be caught up by the 1st.
