On December *, I ordered a Lux 2 translator from this company. My bank was charged immediately for it and I received an e-mail stating I would receive it within 3-5 business days. By December **, I still had not received it. I e-mailed the customer service person I had been working with and found out it had not even been sent out. Luckily I had used paypal to pay for it so getting a refund wasn't that difficult. I had second thoughts and sent a communication request to them to see if I could reorder the item. The form said someone would get back to me within 1 day. That was 2 days ago. After reading their track record on this web site, I'm staying as far away from this company as I can. The down side is that they seem to be the only game in town for the type of translator I need.
I ordered a product on the ECTACO website and got a "Bait and Switch"After they charged my credit card, They informed me that the product "SpeechGuard TLX " is no longer manufactured (but it is still advertised as a deal on their website)I was talked into a different product which I tried and found it to be garbageI requested an RMA and the sales rep got extremely belligerent and insulting and tried to bully me into keeping the garbage productI had to repeatedly argue for the RMA numberDo not buy from this companyThere products and service are horrible
