See Attached.This van ended up having more than one issue. The cooling fans were not running at initial diagnosis so that is what was recommended for repairs first. After the parts finally arrived and were installed, on our test drive, the van appeared to be ok. Obviously, there... was another issue that didn’t show up until the customer took her van. I told my advisor, Randy W***, that we need to help them out and take care of what we need to to get this van back to running properly. The $775 would have been the additional cost on the original bill had we found the second issue at that time. There seems to have been some miscommunication between all parties involved; myself, Randy and the customer. Randy will be reaching out to the customer to try and get the van back so we can complete the repairs. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First, Ed Martin did not make an attempt to try to pick up the vehicle.  Did they send someone to my house and no one was home?  No. Actually what they did do was schedule to pickup the vehicle and then not show up when they said they would.  They didn't call the day of the appointment to say it was cancelled.  They didn't call the next day to reschedule.  I had to call days later in an attempt to get it rescheduled.  Only to be told it still couldn't happen.  If this was an "Attempt" then it would be the equivalent of me "Attempting" to climb Mt. Everest, only not ever leaving Indiana.  I digress.  Second, after multiple communications with Ed Martin regarding the failure to clean my vehicle, I was promised by the Sales Manager that a person would pickup my vehicle so as not to inconvenience me.  This was offered and agreed upon.  The resolution stated in this complaint does not offer to pickup my vehicle.  It actually requires me to drop it off.  This is not what was agreed upon.  As a resolution to this I would like Ed Martin to pickup my vehicle, detail it, and return it to me clean as was promised by the Sales Manager.  If that is not something they can do I would like for them to provide the payment to a 3rd party vehicle detailer of my choice.

Ed Martin understands the vehicle wasn't cleaned to customer's satisfaction. Ed Martin did make an attempt to try and pick up the vehicle but due to scheduling conflicts was unable. Because of the disappointment Ed Martin created with Mr. [redacted] I would like to meet with him personally to re-clean...

the Cherokee and more importantly be there when he picks it up to ensure the work has been completed correctly. Ed Martin will provide a loaner for the time it takes to complete the clean up (approx 1.5-2 hours) Ed Martin will also put fuel in his vehicle for having to bring it back.

response that the vehicle was repaired once is correct but it was not repaired how they said they was repairing it the initial time. Also, I have had my vehicle there 4 times, had a rental for the first repair and it was not done appropriately so I had to come back. Then when coming back the 4th time received a rental from dealership only to have it taken back because a supposed report of reckless driving on the interstate. Reckless driving meaning I was driving 80mpf instead of 70nph which was the speed limit. My vehicle is still not repaired with no repair date. And now I have to make arrangements to have a vehicle because they cannot give me a loaner. I bought the vehicle in January with the intent that it was to be ready at pick up. The general manager is very rude and does not care that I have been mistreated and he doesn't care about the lack of customer service and professionalism. He doesn't return my calls and my vehicle isn't fixed. After 3 different attempts last Friday I had to drive in there just to get his attention and again was blown off.
