I am rejecting this response because: Lane and Kenny Body shop and I have a contract that states the work is guaranteed for life It is clear they do not like the contract but they agreed to the terms when they accepted my payment based on the estimate that indicated the work was guaranteed Their offer to repair only once is considerably less, and a disingenuous offer to modify the contract in their favor, especially since the first repair lasted approximately months and the repair may need to be performed again My offer to accept a full refund is a fair offer since it absolves them of the obligation of responsibility for repairs for the life of my ownership of the vehicle A refund is the most practical, efficient way for us to part ways.Since the lifetime guarantee is non specific and has no disclaimers it does not require that the vehicle be presented for repair locally and that is not practical in this case considering I now live out of state As an alternative to a refund I am willing to work with the body shop's insurance company if they want to file a claim and have the repairs performed locally in Texas and do so each time the repairs need to be made

Scot, this is the gentleman I talked to you about in New York and we came up with the number for the dealer, which I gave himI did respond to the E-mail in question and continued the communications to Mr***The last correspondence I sent out on this was Monday, May 14th and I asked him
to see if the issue might have been caused not by the filter but from sediment from in the aerator of his faucetI have had no response since thenI have tried to get him to a local dealer but either he is not communicating well with them or they will not reply or help himI have supplied a new filter and offered another one even though I told him I believe this is a water quality issue as I have been in contact with a New York area dealer and our water lab stating they have seen high levels of turbidity in the samples recentlyMy offer to have him send in a sample under warranty was turned down even when I offered to give him a filter to cover any shipping charges I believe Culligan has stood behind this product above and beyond our warranty standardsLet me know if you need anything else Brad *** Retail Technical Support Specialist Culligan International 1-800-721-

THE REPAIR WAS REPAIRED AS PER ESTIMATE AND ADDED A GRILL EMBLEM AND CHARGED 3% FOR TAKING CREDIT CARD

I am rejecting this response because:  Lane and Kenny Body shop and I have a contract that states the work is guaranteed for life.  It is clear they do not like the contract but they agreed to the terms when they accepted my payment based on the estimate that indicated the work was guaranteed.  Their offer to repair only once is considerably less, and a disingenuous offer to modify the contract in their favor, especially since the first repair lasted approximately 17 months and the repair may need to be performed again.  My offer to accept a full refund is a fair offer since it absolves them of the obligation of responsibility for repairs for the life of my ownership of the vehicle.  A refund is the most practical, efficient way for us to part ways.Since the lifetime guarantee is non specific and has no disclaimers it does not require that the vehicle be presented for repair locally and that is not practical in this case considering I now live out of state.  As an alternative to a refund I am willing to work with the body shop's insurance company if they want to file a claim and have the repairs performed locally in Texas and do so each time the repairs need to be made.
