Review: I have an estimate for a 5 hour minimum for moving my furniture from my condo in Mantua, NJ to a home in Wenonah, NJ. It's 2.6 miles away. Now I'm told it must be an 8 hour minimum, because it's the end of July. I called several times and was put on hold for more than 15 minutes only to be hung up on. Yesterday, I called and was hung on by picking up the phone and hanging up. I called back immediately and it went right into voice-mail. In addition, I was told by [redacted], a worker, that she would need to speak to the owner and she would get back to me in 20 minutes. That never happened. I've been getting the run around for over a week.Desired Settlement: They need to change their 8 hour minimum policy. I'm not paying $128.00 hour plus the other fees that they tack on. They need to be upfront and honest w/o telling the consumer one thing and doing something different.

Mr [redacted] requested a quote on July 2nd, for his move which would take place on July 29-30th. He was given a quote with a 5 % discount for serving in the military. He responded back to that quote asking about the minimum hours and if we can change it since his move would not take that long. We told him that unfortunately , we can not do it for under our minimum and that the quote he was given was actually a better price than our normal minimum which is 8 hours for the month of July. He declined and said that he would use another company. A few days later, he started calling and asking us to do the move for the 5 hours as originally quoted, but at this point the schedule had already filled up for the date he needed. We did make him aware when he first requested a quote, that the date he was requesting was going to fill up quickly and he should try to let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately, its just a situation where he declined the first quote given , and said he was going to use another moving compay. Then when he called back a few days later, our schedule was booked. The summer is the busiest months for all moving companies, and we try hard to work with all of our customers and their requests but in this case, there was not much more we could do to please him. I have attached the email conversations and quote that were given to Mr. [redacted].

When I called back I was given the runaround. Hold on, let me speak to the owner, I will get back to you in 20 minutes. When I said let's go ahead with this I was told it would be a minimum of 8 hours, not 5 hours. They never got back to me.

Review: We moved in August and all of our appliances were scratched/dented. Our custom furniture was torn, scratched etc. We purchased insurance for the move but have yet to get a status on our claim or any response back from the company for a month now.Desired Settlement: We want the claim process completed and the insurance to cover our $10,000 worth of damaged appliances and furniture.
