we have no issue returning and taking out the grout and re grouting the showeri have copies of all the texts messages and emails that say we have been trying to resolve this for her. but she does not want us to come back she just wants money. *** and her son stood and watched for
many hours a day for weeks as the shower was being built tile by tile. and again I can not speak for what my employees did when I was not thereso I do not know how they mixed the grout, so that is why we offered to come back and fix the issues, the only stipulation I had was that she has to use a grout and sealer separatenot the same product she used last time. we recommended not using a grout and sealer in one product. on the contract it does say grout and sealer separate. the contract also states that it was labor only. we also have in the contract that there is no warranty on materials since it was a labor only job and she was fully responsible for supplying all materials. we had weeks to complete the project, which was and a half weeks before Christmas. the issue was that we were just finishing the tile days before Christmas and she did not want us to use a grout product and then seal the next day with a sealer. she did not want us to be there that close to Christmas. so again customer is fully responsible for providing all materials. she had originally picked the grout and sealer together product before we started the job and *** did not want to go exchange for the proper products because it was to close to the holiday. however I will state again that we are willing to take out the grout as deep as possible without damaging any tile. then we can add a couple small glass tile in the corner that has a larger gap then to fill the space she is concerned about. also we can fix the loose rock on the floor as well as re grout around the drain so it drains correctly. again we can go back and repair so she can enjoy the bathroom she paid us to tile. I also want to add that they added a large glass panel to the shower after our job was doneso if they did not fasten the glass panel to a wall stud behind the tile that will effect all tile as well. and a shower tile job starts from the wall studs out to the tile and if one of those layers is not strong and has movement in it that will also cause issues. and our responsibility was to tile only. they were suppose to do the cement board and the shower pan which they did wrong on both so we had to take out the drain and take all the backer board off the walls and refasten with the proper screws after we had to build them a custom shower pan. after making *** a shower pan with liner and a new drain that would actually work. I have pictures of all the before, during, and after pictures that I can provideand all of this work took about full days for myself and one helper to just put the shower in a condition to tile. and all of this work was done completely free just so we could keep to any remote completion date of before Christmas. which we did. again in completion we are willing to correct issues with the shower.
