Review: On 09/**/12, my mother and I ordered furniture worth of 4500.00 Bed set with nightstands, drawers chest, dresser, entertainment center, sofa set with love sit, TV Stand coffee table, king size mattress with box spring total of 19 pieces from Eden furniture. We paid over 2000.00 in cash and the rest of the balance is been pay monthly with the store credit card line. When we were placing the ordered, we told the store sale person, name [redacted] that we were shipping the furniture to African and the items were to be deviled at the shipping place, which is located in New Jersey. On 3/*/13 the Eden Furniture deviled the items at the shipping location and [redacted] signed as the receivers. On the 4/**/13 my uncle called my mother and told her the mattress was missing from the items and that was the same date my mother was leaving for African. Before she left, she called the furniture store and the shipping location if the mattress was there or if it was never the deviled. The shipping location told me the received 15pcs and loaded all the items they received while the furniture store told me the deviled 19 pieces. When my mother arrived to African she found out 4pcs were missing mattress, mirror, box spring and the dress and also her bed was not the one she ordered. I asked both places to email me they deviled signed receipt. The shipping company emailed me their signed receipt stated they received 15boxs on the 3/*/2013 and [redacted] signed for it. I called [redacted] from the furniture store more then 4 times trying to get their signed deviled receipt he never email one. So I went to the store and asked for it he gave me a signed receipt, which doesn’t match the signed one from the shipping company. He kept saying we did deviled 19 pieces and it not their problem.Desired Settlement: Please help us to resolve this problem, I would appreciate to get the missing furniture or refund us and also refund the diffident for the wrong bed set. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem.

Review: I made a layaway at Eden Furniture store and one day when I returned to make a payment I found that store was closed. A street vendor informed me the store had burned down. The store never contacted me to notify me. When I tried to contact the store the phone number was not in service. I made several attempts to see if the store would re-open but no luck with that. All I want is my money back, due that they did not reopened the business and they did not give me the opportunity to pay off my layaway and get my so desired furniture. They owe me $300 dollars I want and need my money back!!!!!! I need to know the steps on how to recover my money. I need your help!!!Desired Settlement: All I want is my money back, due that they did not reopened the business and they did not give me the opportunity to pay off my layaway and get my so desired furniture. They owe me $300 dollars I want and need my money back!!!!!! I still haven't been able to refurnished my apartment. I would like and need to know the steps, how to recover my money. I need your help!!!

Review: I made a layway at this store and I was making payments towards the item. on June **, 2014 I made a payment of $100. when I come back to make another payment, I found the place closed and when I contacted the store phone I don't received any answer. I made various attemps to see if the store is open but until this date the place where the store was located continue be closed.Desired Settlement: None yet, the store is closed at this moment and no one has contact me via mail, call or any other method of communication.

Review: Put a down payment on a living room set, bedroom set, dinning table, and other products. Store burn down with no way of receiving that money back, or status of where they have located to proceed with sale or refund.Desired Settlement: Will like a full refund from owner, store burn down.

Review: The company recently had a fire and company officials failed to contact me regarding my funds on my layaway. At this point, I am unaware of where to go to get my money back on my layaway. There was and is no notice on the store front indicating their interest of returning and or where they are in the process in reopening their business. Other business in the area have alerted that "Eden Furniture store will not be returning and that I have lost my money." As a result,, I have been forced to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, as well as request for assistance in locating the furniture for refund of my money.Desired Settlement: Due to the lack of professionalism this business has practiced, I am requesting a full refund.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted] purchased a bedroom set from Eden Furniture which is located 1[redacted] the day of the purchase was on JUNE *,2014 when I came to the store I was approach by the salesperson whose name was [redacted] I asked him if I purchased the bedroom with the mattress was the set was going to be brand new and he told me yes it was so I went on and purchase the complete set including mattress and box spring I paid him a total of $950.00 taxes included on June **,2014 I was moving the mattress to put the bed skirt on the bed I notice once I lift the box spring there was a dead bed bug inside the plastic of the mattress that he sold me and I notice that it was used and defective he promised me that it was new and it wasn't all I asked him to do since I paid him was to change my mattress set and he refuse to comply after several calls and plus the visits to the store he still don;t want to comply I called him again and he was very verbal on the phone and being rude to me I tried to work with him but he still refuses so I would like to take action against this store please if you can help me I would gladly appreciate it. By the way the person who was rude to me and who refuses to change my mattress set was the [redacted] of that store and his name is [redacted]Desired Settlement: IF POSSIBLE I WOULD LIKE A CASH REFUND OR EXCHANGE FOR A NEW MATTRESS SET IF POSSIBLE THAT IS ALL I AM ASKING

Review: Cant find any help any where.... I have furniture on layaway with this store and they have been closed since august because of a fire....they have my $1740 and I need it back..Companys just cant disappear off the face of the earth with people money.. I tried to get help from several places but every says the same thing I already know...Company closed". Don't company have to register with a owner or something with the city before they start a business..Somebody somewhere have to have a way to reach out to them some other way...Rules and regulations with this kind of situation need to change...Anyway all I want is my money or my furniture.Desired Settlement: money back

Review: I left a 500.00 deposit on a bedroom set 6/**/2014.When I went back to the store it was closed a month later.I was informed it had a fire . I've been calling the number for 2 months. There's no message left concerning reopening or anything.Desired Settlement: A full refund so I can take my business elsewhere.
