Poor Customer Service
My wife and I attended a formal Healthy Home 365 presentation. We opted to have a sales representative come to our home the same evening to give us an estimate so we could qualify for 3 NEST controls at no additional cost. We agreed to the purchase offer later on the same evening. We were told that the work crew would arrive the next morning to begin work. A two man team arrived the next morning at 1000. I noticed that as the work progressed the two workers did not put any covering on the floor of our newly installed carpeting. I asked one of the workers if they needed to put something down on the floor due to it being new carpeting and we did not want it dirtied. We were told that the walls would be covered first and then the floor. The ladder and men were already walking on the carpeting. A few minutes later I noticed the workers had stockings on their shoes.
I then suggested that a hair line crack on the master bedroom ceiling probably needed to be chalked before being sprayed with the cool paint. The hairline crack was where the cathedral ceiling sheetrock met the flat part of the ceiling sheetrock. I was assured the paint would cover it up. I then said, "What happens if it does not? Isn't it better to make sure it is chalked before it is sprayed? " I was told, "If it does not cover just contact the office and they will send someone out to spray the whole ceiling again." I said, "Sure doesn't seem like taking the risk is worth the effort." I was told the repairman that comes out has "magic fingers" and he could fix it where it would not be noticeable.
The workers asked if they could stay late because the paint they had with them was spoiled and they had to drive 1/2 way to the warehouse, in Richardson, to meet another person bringing them the new paint. The men returned to my house with the paint and stayed working until 0145 am. I sat up in the living room watching over the workers. Later on the same day when the workers returned they began working in the attic laying down the radiant blanket. I noticed that the master bedroom ceiling crack was more obvious with the dried cool paint. The formal living room ceiling had the paint peeled off where they put the masking tape on to hold the plastic sheathing. It appeared that the moisture from the paint got under the tape and when they pulled off the tape it pulled off some of the previous paint. It was an eye sore. As the work progressed the Product Specialist arrived to receive payment for the work. The two workers were still in the attic working. The specialist assured me that someone would return to repair the needed work for the paint. An agreed appointment was scheduled for a week into the future. I was given paperwork to provide the workers upon completion. I was told I would receive pictures of the attic once the job was finished. When the two workers finished the leader said he would email me my pictures. I have contacted the worker and supervisor on several occasions to remind them of the pictures still not sent. I was told the pictures would be sent once they slowed down on the work. It is now going on the 3rd week without pictures.
A week later a two man team arrived at my home and I gave them a tour of the items that needed repair. The work began and I received a telephone call from one of the supervisors asking why my expectations had changed, in a condescending tone? I then replied, "I have the same expectations I've always had to get a professional job done. I had confidence in them that they could deliver. That is why I decided to have the work done." The supervisor replied, "Well, I am told about this tape and bedding and we did not discuss that. We are not a remodeling company." I replied, "I never said anything about tape and bedding. I don't know where you got that from." I was apologized to for his false assumption. Then I said, "I am also very aware that you are not a remodeling company. If it was going to cost extra to chalk such a small line then I would pay it. What do you think my expectations should be?" No comment in return other than to reiterate the apology. It was apparent to me that a previous discussion between one of the workers and the supervisor had taken place. I was told that the workers said they had to work around the heavy bed in the bedroom and were unable to reach the ceiling the way they would like. I offered to put the bed on coasters before the work started so they could move the bed any where in the room and they declined the offer.
I am not seeking an apology for any issue. I just expect to get a professional service for the price paid.
This job is supposed to have Life Time Warranty! If this is a preview of what I got myself into! I hope nothing goes wrong. I had family members and friends asking about the temperature changes in the house because they are interested in having this done. Now I am reluctant in making any endorsements of this company to any of my family and friends.
So anyone out there look up the cost of materials used to do your job and compare it to the cost you are paying in the end. The materials are available online. You make your decision that way. This company appears to have a history of 3+ years. Treating the customers the way I am being treated does not guarantee them a bright future.

Robert *** came over and presented to my wife and I. He was extremely professional. Because I have major allergies we took advantage of the EPS, I am breathing better and sleeping better. We also purchased the Kool Blanket, Kool Blue, and 2 Solar attic fans! I got my first electric bill since then and it was $105 dollars cheaper then the month before!

A co. representative disabled my elderly parents' a/c unit to prove to them they needed his services. He had them sign a loan agreement to quickly.
On 6/28/2019, Mr. *** Senior Product Specialist for Health Home 365 came to my elderly parents' home to demonstrate some of his company's products. He put a wrap around their water heater and discussed replacing their attic insulation and installing an attic ventilation fan, which would have to be installed by cutting a hole in their new roof. Within 20 minutes of entering their home, he had my father sign a consumer loan (drawn on an out-of-state bank), and was lining up a crew to come the next day to start work.
My sister and I have many issues with the way Mr. conducted his business. He was not going to contact the city where my parents reside to secure a permit for the work they were going to do, which their city requires. He adjusted their a/c thermostat to show them how the drops he put in their a/c unit were already making things work better. He also removed the caps from the high- and low-pressure sides of their a/c unit, which caused all the coolant gas to leak out. The next day, they had NO A/C. They had to call a local technician to come and replace the coolant, which cost them $200. This licensed a/c technician stated Mr. should not have touched their a/c unit, since he was not a licensed technician. Mr. told them the loan was un-secured, but the loan wording did not state that fact. The loan would also require my 90-year-old father (my mother is 88) to pay $130.00/month for 10 years. With interest, they would owe over $15,000, and he would be 100 years old when paid off. If you look at my parents, they are evidently both in poor health. We were able to convince my father to rescind the contract and loan.
When Mr. found out the contract was rescinded, he called my parents and started yelling at them for exercising their legal right to get out of the transaction. The following day, he again called my father and demanded $350.00 for the supplies he used in his presentation, including the water heater wrap. My father told him their discussion was over and ended the call.

Desired Outcome

I do not any person from this business to contact my parents again for any reason. I just wanted others to be aware of the unethical business practices of this company's representative. I am also contacting the Council on Aging and the Attorney General for the State of Florida to file official complaints against this company. This representative seems to have been preying on elderly people and getting them to sign contracts that they would have no way of repaying, in order to boost his sales numbers.

Healthy Home 365 only sells products to authorized dealers, we do not sell products to residential customers. This complaint needs to be directed to the specific dealer that attempted to sell them Healthy Home 365 products.

After further investigation the specific dealership who wrote up the estimate for this customer was Edge America Tech. We have spoken to this dealership's upper management and they informed us that Tristian only worked for a 2 week period before being terminated from the dealership prior to this complaint being submitted.

Please direct this complaint to the appropriate company. If you have any questions please contact ***@healthyhome365.com.

Thank you

Edge America Tech Response • Nov 08, 2019

As a company we pride ourselves in giving customers the best overall experience possible. We are sorry that wasn't the case for you and your parents. But please remember, regardless of their age, your parents responded to one of our marketing advertisements, attended one of our product seminars, booked an in-home appointment to give them a quote for their home, and then they decided to move forward with one of our most popular packages. Then, by our records, they/you rescinded the agreement and so we cancelled the order.

As a company we were simply providing the service your parents were requesting.

As far as the Mr. behavior, we apologize if he was anything less than professional. He was a new product specialist that recently graduated our training program at that time. After checking our records, he was terminated from our staff two weeks prior to this complaint being reported to us.

Once again we are truly sorry your experience ended the way it did. We would like to make it up to you if you would allow us. Although we have tried to contact you a number of times to no avail, please reach out if you would like to discuss this further and we will try our best to make up for it in any way that we can.

Thank you
