Review: Got hit with a $119 late fee, even though I returned it at the correct time as per the reservation I made online!The reservation system online gave me the price for the pick-up date/time and return date/time I entered. The cost was given and I went at the correct time and returned it at the correct time.But, when I emailed them to get the late fee credited back and explained that the online system already gave me the right price, they said that's only an "estimate"!!!! If it was just an estimate, then why didn't the guy I picked up from at the counter tell me it would cost me more? No one ever said that based on the times I entered, I would incur a late fee.And then they have the nerve to say to me and I quote: "I'm sorry, but that's all there is to it."Desired Settlement: I want a full credit back to my credit card for the late fee ASAP. They have no right to add a late fee after their online system has already provided a quote and when we returned the vehicle on time as per the times we entered into the system when we made the reservation.

The Complainant originally rented a 15 passenger van from Edge Auto Rental on 8/**/2013 at 9:50 PM with return date 8/** 12 AM which made it a 2 hour rental. Not sure if the complainant realized that when he made the reservation online. Maybe he meant to reserve the van for 24 hours but his online reservation was only for 2 hours. The complainant returned the van on 8/**/13 at 12:30 AM which meanst that the van was returned a Day late. Upon returning the van we granted him a $25 credit even though he did return the van a day late. We were within our rights to charge him a late fee according to his online reservation.
