Back in December 2019 I went up to the location in st Peters twice to request payments be stopped due to Mother death and funaral expences both time I was declined a manager twice and the person I spoke with said someone was going to get back with me never happened now a 203 dollar pymt was takin without consent I tried to call got denied talking to a manager again and the person I was talking to hung up the phone
The General Manager called back declined to help or Refund the 203 unconcerned
called on 2/1/20 requesting to cancel his
membership, because he is unable to afford it. He signed a 12 month agreement
with The Edge that expires on 11/14/20. The agreement clearly states that a
membership can only be canceled within term for medical or relocation with
documented proof. *** started screaming and using profanity towards the
Sales Manager that was attempting to find a resolution around that matter. Mr.
Dudley hung up on the Sales Manager, and this was the last any of the staff
members have heard about the matter. We can provide *** a copy of his signed agreement,
and we are also willing to find other ways to help *** find a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because:
The situation was totally false as to where the indicated. I was totally treated very rudely and no concern at all due to the matter that I explained to 4 different people at edge even the two times that I went up there. Even when I explained I don't live no where near this Edge living in Illinois. The only thing at the time I asked to postpone the payment till I finished paying for my mothers funeral and was refused. The manager was rude and expressed how that was not his concern. When I signed up I asked all the questions to the rep that sighed me up if we were locked in to payments if I needed to stop it for any reason could I. He stated that would not be a problem. Now I do have 2 other witnesses that was there at the time I signed up. Had I thought for any reason they only wanted my money and would have to go through this I would never would have signed up. It was a very unexpected situation when my mother passed away. I'm very emotionally distraught over this whole thing having to relive the situation.
