     We are writing in response to [redacted]' complaint to the Revdex.com....

 Its is unfortunate that [redacted] feels he had a less than satisfactory experience with Edge Optics.  We tried from the first encounter to provide a great experience for him, beginning with the friendly discounts we gave him off the already low retail prices ( over 170 dollars off retail price).  After over a month after receiving the product, We gave him a free prescription recheck (29 dollar value) because he was scared to go back to his original doctor who's prescription he used for the original purchase.  We remade the glasses at no charge.    Then another month later he returned to the office with a new prescription from his doctor that was very different , due to structural, medical changes in the patients cornea's.  We offered to remake the glasses again at wholesale cost to him, since the problem with the glasses made was due to a medical change in the patients body, and not due to an error in craftmanship.  We can still offer [redacted] a remake of his lenses at wholesale cost with his new prescription he received after having a medical change in his eye's prescription.Thanks,[redacted], OD

I bought a pair of very expensive Rx sunglasses that have never been right. I brought them back in after a few days and the optician said that the Rx was made incorrectly. This should have been what they told the lab when they sent them back (if this was even true). Instead they used their one shot at a "re-do", claiming that they had changed something (I don't know what they changed, or what was wrong in the first place). In any case the "new" lenses still weren't right. I went in for what was supposed to be a re-check eye exam but the doctor just spent the time trying to convince me that I just needed to get used to the sunglasses. He claimed that the lab would not re-do them again, and that he would "lose money" etc. In the end I cannot wear the sunglasses to hike or bike because they distort things so badly that I feel unsafe. I did not have this kind of problem adapting to my regular progressive eyeglasses. It's clearly a problem with how these sunglasses were made (either at the lab or because of how the Rx and/or segments have been measured by this business).
