I have visited Mrs*** home and inspected the work that my worker did for her, I sent her an email on March I could not find any problem with the sealantI made the suggestion that she use a colored stainThe deck had a colored stain on it in the pastI charged her for cleaning the deck
and putting a clear sealant on the deckA clear sealant is on her deckI cannot make the wood look any better than to put a colored stain on the deck instead of using a clear productI am happy to do that, but she will have to know the exact color of the product that was used in the pastI thought she was finding another person to do the stainingThe deck is cleaned and prepped for a stainI am beginning to feel as if she is harassing me and I will not hesitate in filing a warrant in debt for disparaging meMy email to her March 17, 2017: "I respect your opinionAll I can do is clean it, once againI have no idea why it looks the way it does when it is wetIt is an oil-based product that is on the deckIt is clear, which is why you cannot see any transgressions while it is dryDo you want me to come over one day when it is wet? Is that what you would like me to do? Or, should we just put a stain on it I guess I am getting confused. If you want its appearance to be more attractive when it is wet, we should just put a stain on it." Her next email to me indicated that she was going to get somebody else to do the workAn important point to realize here is that when a clear product is put on the deck, a matter of time must go by before staining with a colored stainEverybody would like a resolution to this matter as fast as possible, but limitations are in place due to the fact that there is a clear sealant on the deck that will repel whatever is put on the deck for a number of monthsI cannot make the process go any fasterInsulting me before the Revdex.com and my clients on *** is not the way to have this workAnd, to find another person to complete the work is fine with me- that is what she told me she was going to doBut, anyone else will have to wait before putting stain on the deckThat is finalIt will be another few months til a stain can safely be put on the deck.Mrs*** indicated to me before I began work on her wood deck that the last person that did work on her deck did not do a nice jobI may agree to a point, but I cannot make to process go any easierWe decided upon using clear, we were told to clean the deck and put a clear product on it

[redacted]Attached are all the emails sent to and received by Southern Home.  I just received a response letter from you with Southern Homes response saying that my deck was inspected however it was not as you can see from the dated emails.  Southern Home has made no effort in fixing this problem.March 16th Mr S[redacted] sent email saying he will look at the deck this week.March 23rd I sent Mr S[redacted] an email asking if he came to check out the deckMarch 23rd I received an email from Mr S[redacted] saying no he has not.  He stated in that email he                 would reclean and reseal with an axrylic water sealantApril 9th      I still have not heard from Mr S[redacted] and sent him another emailApril 9th      I received an email saying he would take care of it this weekApril 20th    Still have not heard from Mr S[redacted]. All the emails are attached so you can see Mr S[redacted] is not telling the truth.  In my April email I even said he did not have to reseal as I would have someone else so it and I also told him my fence looks just as bad as the  deck except a 1/4 of the fence on the left side that for some reason his worker did not seal and it does not have the same look as the parts he did seal.   I also told him my fence was never power washed or seal before as this was the first time.   The deck was powerwashed last year and I informed Mr S[redacted] that there were black slippery spots and he said the powerwasher may not have used bleach. If you look at the pictures I have attached you can clearly see the water proofing was put on in a stream flow instead of an even spray and  I am not so sure it was good material.  I even asked for a receipt for the sealer so I could contact the company to see their reaction of my pictures and Mr S[redacted] stated I was blowing this out of proportion and didn't send me the receipt as requested.Mr S[redacted] stated in his response letter that he emailed me on March 17 and that my next email to him was saying I would get  someone else to do it and you can plainly see there were several email back and forth after that until I felt he was not going to do anything and that is when I filed this complaint.   I paid good money and feel like I was not given the quality of work that I paid for plus the run around  and wasting of my time has been very stressful.   I would never treat a customer or ignore and lie as Mr S[redacted] has done to me.   I do think I am due a refund of $[redacted].00 Thank You for your attention in this matter.
