My family was in the market for a new puppy and found one through Edgewood Stables and Harlequin Miniature Pinschers. We contacted them and was told the price was 1200 dollars and would require a 200 dollar deposit. We sent the money and waited for the delivery date to pay the remainder. During the wait pictures were sent which were shared with my children. My children who are quite young we're excited to get a puppy and fell in love with the one chosen. Closer to the date the price went up to 1500 then again was raised to 2000. This didn't seem fair but we were still willing to pay. The initial agreement had delivery to Edmonton which is where we were going to pick up the puppy. As the date neared Edgewood Stables told us that the puppy wasn't for sale anymore and they weren't going to sell us the puppy anymore. I just want my initial deposit back but that didn't happen.
Refund I would like my deposit refunded.
The puppy was never 1200.00 unless he was fixed. He was listed for 1500.00 with a 250.00 refund if he was neutered by 6 months of age. This customer informed us they did not want to neuter the dog so then the offer was made to sell him at breeding price of 2000.00 which was not listed. When the puppy was sold into a new home the deposit was refunded. Both clients were fully refunded for the entire amount that was given to us.
