I'm not sure that I understand his rejection Does he not want his car fixed? If so, it might be too late as it is being worked on right now at the body shop Please let me know as soon as possible to cancel the repair or continue to fix itThanks [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The damage is not 'a very slight depression', it can not be ignoredI have some photos that can be used to verifyIt is along the edge from up to down about a feet long on the driver side, you may not see it when you are very close to the car, but you will see it from some distance awayThe issue is not only the driver door, but also on the front passenger door, even it is not as serious as the driver door The explanation about damage can not explain the both door damage Later I also notice one more issue: there was a loosing parts noise when driving the car for the left or right turnsIt sounds like a small piece part rolling from side to side when taking turns.Let just say it is a damage of unknown reason from the transportation to dealership as the explanationI do worry a lot about the possibility of all other damages that may be introduced at the same time as the doors were damagedAlso the doors' issue mostly likely has been fixed or covered somehow, otherwise why the sales did not notice them when prepared the car for saleIf it was introduced as damage rather than a defectWho did that, and if he or she covered other more serious damages? please give me more explanation.Overall, I spend 50k bought this new car, but it has all these issues above, and the dealership just said that they go ahead fix it and repaint itNo one wants to buy a fixed 'new car' with damages from unknown reasonThe explanation about damage is not clear and unacceptableSince both door have the issues, is this car a low-standard product or under-standard product for some reason? I do need the dealership give an acceptable solution for this issue Regards, [redacted] ***

Client did come in after delivery with a concern about the driver's door There was a very slight depression close to the door edge that was only visible if you looked for it at a steep angle in the correct light We had no record of this imperfection on our delivery receipt when the car was delivered here from the transportation company We also inspected the car at time of sale, cleand at delivery to the retail cus***er but there was nothing found Despite these inspections which are procedure for all new cars, it could have been there all along because it is very hard to detect On Mr***'s first visit to us with the concern, we informed him that we could send it to a body shop to fix but that would require repainting the door after the repair is made and that the factory finish would be disturbed which we wouldn't recommend He left and then came back later to complain the second time We agreed to fix the door and re-paint it at a body shop but again said we wouldn't recommend this We agreed to pick up the car on Monday, October 12th which we did The car is now at Marshall Auto Body being repaired Acura National Client Services agreed with our action[redacted] ***

I bought this new car from Acura of Brookfield in WI, and was supported to have some happy experienceI never expected that a new car has body problemsAcura of Brookfield wants to just repair the defectsThat means that they have to fold the door somehow and repaint the Original Factory Painted doorsAll these should not happen to me as a brand new car buyerI feel it is so unfair. I attached a photo that show one of defects and show how bad of the bodywork of this car: the shining bar should completely align, but it actually misaligned at least one third. I hope that Acura of Brookfield to do either of the following in order to resolve the issue:Exchange the car with a one without defects, ( or if they do not have one, they may refund and return the car.)Repair the car body defects completely and refund me 7% of the total cost of the car to compensate my becoming an owner of a repaired car from an owner of an original new car

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The damage is not 'a very slight depression', it can not be ignored. I have some photos that can be used to verify. It is along the edge from up to down about a feet long on the driver side, you may not see it when you are very close to the car, but you will see it from some distance away. The issue is not only the driver door, but also on the front passenger door, even it is not as serious as the driver door.  The explanation about damage can not explain the both door damage.  Later I also notice one more issue: there was a loosing parts noise when driving the car for the left or right turns. It sounds like a small piece part rolling from side to side when taking turns.Let just say it is a damage of unknown reason from the transportation to dealership as the explanation. I do worry a lot about the possibility of all other damages that may be introduced at the same time as the doors were damaged. Also the doors' issue mostly likely has been fixed or covered somehow, otherwise why the sales did not notice them when prepared the car for sale. If it was introduced as damage rather than a defect. Who did that, and if he or she covered other more serious damages? please give me more explanation.Overall, I spend 50k bought this new car, but it has all these issues above, and the dealership just said that they go ahead fix it and repaint it. No one wants to buy a fixed 'new car' with  damages from unknown reason. The explanation about damage is not clear and unacceptable. Since both door have the issues, is this car a low-standard product or under-standard product for some reason? I do need the dealership give an acceptable solution for this issue.

We repaired the driver's door assuming it was a defect under the Acura factory warranty.  The warranty is for 4 years and 50,000 miles from Acura.  They (Acura) were happy to approve the warranty repair which is why there is a warranty, to take care of defects.  If the trim piece is out of alignment on the same door, we can fix that too.   There is no provision in the Acura warranty for monetary compensation to the cus[redacted]er for any warranty repair so they will not do that.  Call the dealership to make an appointment if you want the trim piece fixed. Thanks[redacted]
