Review: This year 2014 mothers day, I purchased two arrangement for my loved ones from edible arrangements. One from the gretna location which had excellent service and the second arrangement was from the Metairie location which was horrible. On the day of delivery from the Metairie location, my mothers arrangement arrived with inferior quality fruit and it was missing the balloon and bear that was supposed to come with the arrangement. I called the customer service number that day to report the mishap. Customer service assure me that I would be contacted within 48 hours by the service location which was the Metairie location. Of course, I never was contacted by the location. So I contacted the Metairie location after a week, and the Not so nice manager [redacted] told me that if I was so concerned about my order that I should have contacted him sooner. After that conversation, I again called their national customer service a second time and was assured that I again would be contacted to resolve my issue. Again no call or no refund from the Metairie location. Three weeks later I called customer service again to report that no resolution was found, to my continued disapointment the representative stated that there was nothing she could at her level. This complaint is to notify the public of the horrible customer service at Edible Arrangement Metairie.Desired Settlement: Refund of the total purchase price plus any taxes. For inferior fruit quality and the missing bear and balloon.

Review: After ordering a fruit arraignment to be picked up on Sunday June 30 at 1100am we called and were told we could pick this up as late as 300pm. We arrived around 230 and were given a basket out of the cooler. After leaving the business and driving less than 1/4 of a mile we noticed much of the basket had mold growing on it. Upon returning to the business the worker asked my wife what was the problem. He right away gave my wife a different basket, but this one was also molded. When I told him the problem he informed me that he would not make a new basket but I could choose a different one from the cooler. After looking in the cooler I noticed that no other baskets were close to what was needed by us. I told the employee of this and he said he guessed he would just credit the card that was used to purchase the basket, but he did not know how to do this. He called a co-worker whom walked him through the process and then I was told that YOU CAN LEAVE NOWDesired Settlement: This is for informational purposes only Very poor business

Review: I ordered, via the Edible Arrangements website, a very expensive fruit arrangement to be delivered to my parents house in Kenner on Christmas Eve. The website accepted my money and sent the order to this store in Metairie. The website did say that a delivery time could not be guaranteed. On Christmas Eve, as I was heading to the party, at 4:00 pm, I called this store to find out why my arrangement had not yet been delivered. I was told my arrangement was made but was waiting for the delivery driver to return. I was assured that it would be on the next delivery van. The party went on and ended without my fruit. I checked the website again which said deliveries stop at 9 pm. After 9 pm I received a call from the delivery driver that she was on her way. I told her the party was over and I no longer wanted it. She said she would bring it back to the store and implied that I could get a refund. I later contacted the website to request the refund and they sent my request to the local store. This store never contacted me. Once I finally reached a manager, I was told I could get store credit only but no refund. I said this did not satisfy me as I did not live in the delivery area of the store and wanted a refund. The manager said he was not authorized to give me a refund only the owner could do that. I said I wanted him to have the owner call me. He replied that she does not call customers back! He repeated that he could only offer me store credit and that he wanted to end the phone call. He did say that he would pass my message on to the owner. (though I am not hopeful that she will respond.) I await a call from her but I will also contact the corporate office of Edible Arrangements.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the purchase price and delivery charge to the account that I used to purchase the arrangement online.

Review: I ordered a $107 edible arrangement from the Metairie, La. store to be delivered. It was not delivered the day it was supposed to be and was not delivered for three days. When it finally arrived, it was mostly turning rotten. The store and the corporate office have refused to do anything to help. I had been a customer for a long time but will never utilize this service again. I have NEVER seen such Disgusting service and quality.Desired Settlement: Refund
