Review: I have been getting bills from Edison Imaging for a mammogram done on 6/19. I paid the first bill which was for my portion of $13.79. There after on 11/9/15 I received another bill and I called I was told by [redacted] to ignore the bill that I shouldn't have gotten it. On 12/26/15 I received another bill this time for $50 and I spoke to [redacted]. Who went into my account and told me that I now owed $50 it is marked overdue 31-50 days and it was because my insurance company [redacted] had denied the claim and put the cost towards my deductible. I explained I am on [redacted] and don't have a deductible for this. I was told to call my insurance carrier.

I did call my insurance carrier and found out that they had paid the charges and that the only thing I was responsible for was the original $13.79. They said they would send something to Edison but I wouldn't hear for 90 days.Desired Settlement: My credit is very important to me. I need a letter stating that the billing was incorrect. That I owe nothing and that nothing has been reported to the credit bureau

- My name is [redacted] the Billing Client Services Manager for Edison Imaging Associates. I am writing in response to Ms. [redacted] complaint. As the billing office we follow certain guidelines set forth by our client. It was our understanding the sites were collecting waivers from patients who came in for their annual mammogram. Patients were advised their insurance company may not pay for the new 3D tomo and given the option of opting out of having this done. If their insurance did not cover the study and it was performed, patients understood they would be billed $50 to cover the cost of the study. Since we were notified 3D was performed on Ms. [redacted] and her insruance did not cover it she was billed the $50. We have since learned Ms. [redacted] did not sign the waiver and have written off the balance of $50 on her account. No balance is due at this time. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this matter.
