I am sending this as my response to the complaint # [redacted]. I am the store manager in our Appleton location. I received a forwarded copy of your email to our business owner this morning 5/15/2015. He asked that I look into the issue and respond to it. I tried to get in contact with the...

customer to get more info from them. How ever I have yet to hear back from them. I also looked in our computer system and have not been able to find their name or any info in regards to the purchase  that was made on the date that is in the email. When I got into work this morning I had a message from the customer who filed the complaint. I can now look into this mater and hope to get it resolved ASAP so that it does not hurt us in the long run.

I contacted the manager and left a voicemail with my receipt number, wedding information, and date of purchase. I have the receipt to demonstrate that 15% was not given. I can scan or fax the receipt to the business if they cannot find the purchase order. Regards,

Review: was asked to be in a wedding and then due to extenuating circumstances was no longer in the wedding. I do not live in Fon du Lac, I'm out of state, so had to pay someone else to fit me locally and I submitted my measurements to Edith's. They literally provided NO SERVICE to me.

The dresses were not even ordered when I cancelled, yet when I had to cancel my dress, they charged a $50 "service fee." They said it was their policy - how was I to know that if I've never spoken to or even seen any of these people in person? How was there any way for me to avoid this fee when I had never been inside of their business and had never known about this policy?

It's really quite an exorbitant fee considering they did nothing. No dresses were even ordered. How can I owe them $50 for a service that was not provided? It seems excessive and fraudulent, since no services were provided, I owe them nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund including their $50 service fee, which they should not charge since no services were provided to me.

Review: Edith Bridal currently advertises that you will save 15% on your dress if the groom and his party reserves tuxes at the same location. When I bought my dress, they could only give me 10% discount until the grooms reserved their tuxes and reassured me the 5% will be added afterwards. Since I knew I was getting an additional discount in the coming weeks, I paid for a portion of the dress. The grooms and his party got their tuxes reserved. When I went to pick up my dress, I reminded the cashier that 5% needs to be added. She added the 5% but it took it off the remaining balance and not the total purchase. I explained to the cashier that the original price of the dress should be 15% off but the way I was being discounted was incorrect because 5% of 300 is different than 5% of 150. She asked for someone to come over and check what I was saying. The woman did identify that I was correct that the 5% was being removed from the remaining balance rather than total price of the dress. When I asked her to adjust it, she said there is no way to adjust it in the system. She said they have been doing this practice since they had their software and it will have to be address by someone else. I explained to them that it was very inappropriate to advertise 15% off but not actually give 15% off. While they did agree, they reiterated that there was nothing they can do. This is completely unacceptable. I have the receipt to prove that I was not given the 15% off on the dress.Desired Settlement: This needs to be addressed. If the system cannot add on an additional 5% to the original balance of the dress, then 15% should be added on at the first transaction. Or, you need to stop advertising something that is completely false and misrepresenting. I wonder how many people have lost out on additional savings because they did not catch this error-- especially since the woman said they've always done this. Completely horrible.
