hello, thank you for your prompt response the company EDITION RESIDENTIAL changed their business name to CRITERIA after I told them last Jan **that I would make it public to the IC3, The New York State Attorney General's Office ***, Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), and others, (which I did) that they had invented extra charges for services that were never requested nor provided, in order NOT to reimburse me the security deposit of $ I paid for all the entire lease UPFRONTWhen they additionally billed me for (the only extra expense I incurred) after I vacated the apartment in perfect condition, they should have also deposited that amount of the security deposit in my credit card, as their contract states I also publicly disclosed the fact that they refused whatsoever contact with me during most of October, all November and December, even when I sent multi emails and faxes, in order NOT to reveal the location of the apartment, the reason being that they are illegally subletting that unit (lE at OHM building) and they want to hush it up, alleging security reasonsOf course, this was most distressing, as I had no clue as to their silence Now, If a company is honest, why would they rush to change business name if discovered, or when accused ? Revdex.com has records of previous wrongdoing from this company, under the name of EDITION SUITES The desired settlement is IMMEDIATE REIMBURSEMENT of the money they stole from me, and if possible, a legal action from MasterCard and Visa to bar them use of their services, which they use as a cover up since credit card transactions seem to be somehow more secure and legalized by the card issuer, and a publication in a Revdex.com registry or other of companies accused of crime, wrongdoing, etc You can ask for all other information that you think may be of help [redacted]

Dear ***,
Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Edition Property Management Solutions LLC regarding complaint ID ***
However, they have answered The Internet Fraud Bureau, disclaiming responsibility with arguments
They claim that the security deposit of around $ was to be applied to future services or expenses I would incurThis is not trueI have not incurred any extra expenses, expect for the use of the and an extra copy of a key, which I returned when I left, and for which they billed my card later
The security deposit is taken in case any damage is done to the property, which was NOT the case in the very least
I paid for the whole lease upfront, and the deposit was to be returned once I vacated the apartmentThey are, plainly, stealing this money from me
As you keep several previous records of malpractice or wrongdoing, or, directly, fraud, from this very company, it should be useful that you send them to *** *** (I am pasting her contact address below) to cooperate in the making of a registry of legal offenders, even if it is solely for the sake of justice
I still would like you to contact EDITION RESIDENTIAL again, and insist, so that they will feel observedNot answering at all is a blatant form of disrespect
Sincerely,
*** ***

General's Office [redacted], Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), and others, (which I did) that they had invented extra charges for services that were never requested nor provided, in order NOT to reimburse me the security deposit of $ 635.
I paid for all the entire lease UPFRONT. When they additionally billed me for wi-fi (the only extra expense I incurred) after I vacated the apartment in perfect condition, they should have also deposited that amount of the security deposit in my credit card, as their contract states.
I also publicly disclosed the fact that they refused whatsoever contact with me during most of October, all November and December, even when I sent multi emails and 2 faxes, in order NOT to reveal the location of the apartment, the reason being that they are illegally subletting that unit (l24 E at OHM building) and they want to hush it up, alleging security reasons. I made a reservation through [redacted] for one of Criteria's properties in NY in June of this year. When I set up the reservation it clearly stated that we would pay at the time of check-in which wasn't until Aug. [redacted], 2015. Criteria went ahead and submitted (although they stated they were only authorizing the full amount plus another $219.50), to my debit card thus overdrawing my bank account. They offer no customer service number to call they only have an email with which you can respond. After nearly a dozen emails, the property manager called me. I told him that I had no intention of paying the full amount owed on my own for the reservation, nor would I be willing to pay it all up front. He said that was fine and canceled my reservation for me (and told me no fees would be assessed because they had a "no cancellation policy." In the meanwhile they've charged my account 3 separate times and they have now submitted a falsified document (to my bank) with a falsified signature stating that I agreed to pay them $1,000. I'm still in the process of disputing their claims and am still overdrawn on my account. This company is less than reputable. They shouldn't be allowed to do business. There is obviously more to the story since this has been going on since June, but this is the gist of it.
Review: We rented an apartment from Edition from June [redacted] to June [redacted]. We gave a security deposit in the amount of $160 to be refunded within 30 days after check out. On July** we received a final bill for services not used during our stay. We were charged a $75 early check in fee even though we checked in at our available time, not early. We were charged $45 for internet access, that we never accessed. We were also charged $75 for use of an air mattress that was not used. The reservation was through [redacted] and it clearly states that the room sleeps 3, anyone under the age of 18 is not charged for the stay. Our daughter is 16. I contacted [redacted] on the [redacted] to confirm that we would not be charged any additional fee for our daughter. We were once again told the room we rented sleeps three with no additional charge. We did not use the air mattress, she slept on the couch. Our American express was not credited for our $160 deposit, it was debited for an additional $42.80Desired Settlement: Our American Express credited for the amount of $202.80.

Sincerely,
Review: The company EDITION RESIDENTIAL NEW YORK (which changed in mid-Jan 2014 to the business name CRITERIA), supposedly run by a [redacted] (maybe an alias) holding a (possible) broker's license # [redacted], has billed me for services that were never requested nor provided, that is, they invented charges, in order to avoid refunding my security deposit for the property I rented and occupied for 10 days last Dec **to **.
I believe all the force of the law should be used to punish them. Not only are they defrauding well-meaning customers, but they are also infringing NYC law by illegally subletting an apartment they advertise as ¨the Alfie Suite¨, whose location they would not reveal until I arrived in NYC.
That apartment corresponds to unit 24 E of the OHM building, on [redacted]. Said building only takes long term (1-2y) leases. I suspect someone else in the building itself is (co)operating this form of scam. I request your agency to proceed with my claim and investigate EDITION RESIDENTIAL or CRITERIA for fraud.
Sincerely, [redacted]
