Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] if they attempted to contact the service guy and he said it had been performed already why wouldn't they call me to let me know this? And I called them at least one hour prior to when service was booked for Edmonton exterminators had my phone number and did not make one attempt to contact me via phoneIf there was no response from the statements they claim to have sent them isn't it good business practice to make a courtesy call??? Perhaps I had moved, been away or somethingThe payment WAS MADE IN FULL in two ayments as that is what I had arranged with collections this company isn't even willing to take responsibility and comprimise as I have kindly requested, [redacted] [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have since had an opportunity to look into this billing and the work done for [redacted] **and have reason to believe that the first application was actually never even done according to the tenant and our maintenance staff I have been advised that their service person may have actually gone to the wrong addressI am having this looked into for verification ASAPThe second application done by Edmonton Exterminators did work so this leaves me to believe also that it was not done at all or right the first time for which they had been paid forNow, to address as to why we used them againIts because no one can be perfect all of the time so another opportunity was the appropriate thing to do.And, your mention of my new car purchase is out of lineThat has no baring on the issue other than the collection filed is grounds for legal action should I consider it.Lastly, I don't believe Edmonton Exterminators can cry foul when it has been registered even on the Revdex.com that this jumping to collections without cause is also a past issue with other customers Its obvious a practice for which they have used to collect money from people without just cause I suspect there would be more of these complaints if it were not for the "Member's Only complaints will be posted" rule in place with the Revdex.com This rule defeats any honest feedback so companies like this can hide behind the cloak of the Revdex.comI was warned not to bother with filing a complaint as the Revdex.com will only back the companies that pay for their service As a private business they too are only interested in their bottom linemoney they get from the members and not the fair treatment of the consumer Sincerely, [redacted]

An employee of this company called at my house yesterday (mouse problem) He was very knowledgeable (more than I wanted to know about mice), explained what he was doing (showed me where mice had eaten some poison from some black boxes left by another extermination company years ago), thorough, and answered my questions very nicelyKnowledge and attitude much appreciated

Mrs***, call the morning of June 20thto inform us that she no longer required our services for exterior spraying for Ants, upon reaching the technician to tell him that the service was no longer required, he informed the office that the treatment had already been perform, and he had left a
copy of the Work Order in the mail box of *** *** ***When the technician brought back the Work Order the next day, we invoiced Mrs*** and sent her an invoiceAfter not receiving any payment from this client for months, another copy of the invoice was mailed to her at the same addressWe still never heard anything back regarding paymentAfter months of delinquent non payment we place clients to a collection agencyTo this date Mrs*** has only paid the collection agency $towards this outstanding accountHer total bill was $183.75. She has expressed that when she receives flyers and such in the mail box everything is just thrown out without sorting through to see if there is anything that may need attention to (Ex bills and such)Her service was provided and thus we have only received $for this serviceAs when we put this account into collections and clients pay we, only receive half of the money collected and the collection agency receives the other halfTrusting that this is a satisfactory explanation. Mar 8, 2017Attn: [redacted]Re: complaint #[redacted]I am writing in regards to a complaint lodged against our company for a job we performed on Aug 12, 2016. The job in question was a treatment for cockroaches. The unit in question is located in a bank of townhomes. This is important because any...

time you have adjoining units, it is always a good idea to treat not only the problem unit, but units on either side as a prevention.We only treated one unit and informed the management that it wasn't possible to guarantee the unit, it would only be for control, as the other units weren't being done. The unit was treated and "control" was marked on the work order.We received a call approximately one month later saying that there were still some cockroaches. At that time it was explained that there would be a charge, as it had not been guaranteed. Arrangements were made to treat again on the 16th of September 2016, which we did. In hindsight, I guess that it is this particular job being complained about. But better for you to have the complete history. I am enclosing copies of our work slips we use for the technicians when they go to perform their work. I am doing this to show that charges were in fact marked on both of these slips from the two jobs.After the second treatment, we invoiced the management for the townhome and nobody ever replied back registering a complaint at that time about the charge. We never received any payment, so a notice was sent on Dec 23, 2016 informing them of the unpaid invoice. Still no reply or payment. We waited until Feb 3, 2017 and sent another notice in hope of some kind of response, but still nothing. So on Feb 23, 2017 they were placed into collection.It was only at this time did we receive a call back. The caller told us that we had told them the first job was guaranteed, which is false and quite obvious from "control" marked on the work order. We never guarantee treating just one unit in multi-family dwellings. In fact the only reason we got a call back is because the complainant is attempting to finance a vehicle and being in collection is detrimental to this of course. At least that is what they informed us of.The caller went so far as to say we did terrible work and had to hire someone else after our treatment. It seems a bit odd that if they were so certain we told them of a guarantee, they wouldn't phone us back after the second cockroach treatment. Further to that, she said we hadn't done a good job for a mouse treatment at a different address way back in Feb of 2016. One would think that if that was in fact the case, they wouldn't have been calling us back again for the cockroach problem? I can only speculate.Lastly, the lady caller was quite belligerent on the phone with our secretary, who has been with us for over 5 years, is very professional and does an excellent job.I am including copies of the slips and work orders of the cockroach treatments, as well as the previous mouse treatment, just to prove my claims.It is unfortunate that these scenarios take place, but it is all part of business. Nevertheless, we will contact the collection agency and remove our case against them. Not because we are in the wrong in any way, but I still do not wish someone's credit to suffer if they are indeed wishing to finance a vehicle.Thanks for your time, Tom S[redacted]Manager

Her service was provided and thus we have only received $50.00 for this service. As when we put this account into collections and clients pay we, only receive half of the money collected and the collection agency receives the other half.
