Let me first start by saying [redacted] is not a nice person.  I told [redacted] that her counter top was a special order, there is a no cancellation option and that there was going to be a 4 week wait.  Unfortunately, the manufacturer closed for the Easter Holiday (Holy Thursday...

and Good Friday).  That left us with a slight shipping delay.  There was no delay on my part or Rainbow's in ordering her custom top.  We do not fabricate post-form tops in house.  We have ordered them before, and made Stephanie aware that we do not have total control over the time frame.  Regardless, [redacted] wanted her top by 4/**/16.  Unfortunately, because of the delay, we were receiving the top on 5/*/16.  That was unacceptable to her.  She became very demanding and abusive to me when I informed her.  She told me that if she did not receive her counter top on the date she wanted, she would come down to my office and cause a scene.  We have been in business since 1979.  I have been here with Rainbow since the beginning.  Again, she became very demanding.  Telling me that now I would have to deliver her counter top and install free of charge.  Confirming that she is a loud mouth trouble maker, she reported us to you, with out even letting us come to a reasonable resolution with her.  Her father was also present at the time of the sale.  He came into my office to talk to me about the counter top.  He understood that the delay was out of my hands.  He also apologized for his daughter's uncontrollable bad temper.  He also told me that he asked his daughter to remove this complaint.  He told me if you wanted to speak with him, Steve ###-###-####, he would be happy to talk with you.  I was hoping that she would actually remove the complaint, but highly doubted it. Hence the reason for not answering sooner.  Because of [redacted]'s rude behavior and insane anger, I personally decided to return her $200.00 deposit out of my own pocket.  You can never make some people happy.  Her father did come to my office on 4/**/16 to pick it up.  Rainbow Could not cancel the counter top and absorbed the $575.00 cost.We have been in business a long time.  And know that there are just some people who you need to walk away from.  We decided that [redacted] was one of those people.  Just to make it clear.  Rainbow did refund her money, not because she demanded us to, because we chose to walk away from this difficult person.  Costing Rainbow the amount of $775.00.  $575.00 for the Counter Top and $200.00 to refund her deposit.Thank you for your understanding...[redacted]
