Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that while I disagree with their interpretation of the events I accept the discounts offered just to be finished with the who,e situationIf their tech can not get his hand in the area to cause the damage while working on the condenser how in the world do I cause the damage while operation the vehicle? There are no damages any where else on the vehicle or on any parts surrounding the condenser so the whole situation is very strangeDamage has now been repairedBill is paid by me utilizing the discounts offered by dealership managerComplaint resolved, lesson learnedthanks [redacted] ***

The customer brought his vehicle in for an air conditioning problem, was not blowing cold airAs per diag by my tech it was shown to need an AC charge which was done at that timeRoad test was good and AC pressure showed good so called the customer and had him pick up his truckOn his way home
it started blowing warm air again so he brought it back inDid further diag and found that the condenser had had bid dents in it, now the only way the condenser could be like that is if the truck had an accident of some sort, a tech could not even get his hand in the spot to make a dent let alone We told the customer it would not be warranty as it was clearly not a manufactures defectWe also gave him back his diag chargeIt was then brought to my attention and I had another conversation with the customer and gave him a discount for the trouble of having to bring the truck back and he elected to do the work.In closing my shop did make a mistake in diagnosing the truck originally which is why I gave the customer a discount but that is all, the dented condenser was only to do with the customer which is why in the end he had to pay for the new oneThe truck is now finished and back with the customer and he has settled his bill
