Review: I have tried to pay my student loans for the months of September and October four times now and was finally able to succeed on the fourth try. The website frequently does not work; I have tried multiple times over the last month to pay online and have not been able to get the payment to process. The screen lets me put in all my information but does not go forward. I have tried to call to make my payments by phone, but both times I waited for about ten minutes and then was just hung up on. No one ever answered the phone. I don't want to mail in my payments; I tried that last year and the timely payment that I mailed in was posted late and it went on my credit report that I paid late. I called to let them know at that time, and was told that it was the date the payment was posted that counted. I was finally able to pay for September and October today (the website finally worked), but I have a late fee of $20.00 (that I paid), and I'm sure it's gone on my credit report again. This is absolutely ridiculous. Assessing people late fees and tarnishing their credit by making it nearly impossible to pay on time clearly constitute Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices, and this behavior is a clear violation of the FDCPA. I have plenty of other student loans and bills, all of which I always pay on time. This is the only company I have trouble with, and it's because their policies are designed to make sure you can't possibly pay on time. I would really like someone from [redacted] to address this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like any and all late fees backed out and would like any reporting to my credit deleted immediately. I would also like to know if there's a preferred browser or something that will make their website work, or I'm just going to keep running into this.

Review: I had a $2,000 loan through [redacted] (**). I enrolled in automatic quarterly payments through the **'s website (My[redacted]Loan) as soon as it became available, and even made an additional payment up front in order to get a jump start on repaying my loan. The automatic enrollment showed me as successfully enrolling on the ** website. Apparently, there was an issue with the automatic enrollment after the fact, via either [redacted] or my bank. After over 6 months of having set up the autopay, I was sent the first ever document from them that I had been assessed a late payment charge. 6 MONTHS!! AND THEY NEVER NOTIFIED ME BY PHONE, EMAIL, OR MAIL THAT THERE WAS EVER AN ISSUE!!!!! THEN THEY REPORTED ME TO THE CREDIT BUREAU! They clearly had my mailing address because they sent me the late payment SIX MONTHS LATER!!! WHY DIDN'T THEY MAIL ME 5 MONTHS EARLIER TO LET ME KNOW THERE WAS A POSSIBLE ISSUE?The late fee was incurred not because of my inability to pay, but because [redacted] notified me that I had successfully enrolled in automatic payments and then failed to notify me of any issues with my quarterly payment. When I called [redacted] to correct this issue, I was met with RUDE AND DIFFICULT STAFF who said that there was nothing they could do, and that I would have to sort out this issue with the credit bureau on my own. BUT THEN THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE ME WITH THE DOCUMENT I NEEDED FROM THEM TO CLEAR UP THE ISSUE WITH THE CREDIT BUREAU!I immediately paid my loan in full in order to never have to deal with [redacted] again; I have no confidence in [redacted] Partner's ability to successfully process payments made by honest, young professionals working to pay off their loans. To say that this has been an abysmal experience is an understatement. This is the sole late payment I have EVER incurred in my life, and because of [redacted] Partner's failure to do their due diligence, my credit score has been negatively affected, which is now making it difficult for me to buy a home.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to correct my credit report, officially reporting that I never had a late payment in order to rectify my credit score. This needs to be done via official letterhead in order for the credit companies to correct my score. This needs to be completed as soon as possible so my husband and I can move forward with our lives.
