Review: We hired Edward Bros to repair ( which involved tear down and a total rebuild) of a porch on our rental property. We put down a significant down payment and very little work has been accomplished. The initial delay was a permit "issue" that took him from May 6th to the very end of July to obtain the permit. We left numerous messages with the company but were getting very little responses. Finally we were informed that we had a permit. then nothing again for 3 weeks. We happened to go to the property one day in late Aug and found them setting up to work (without scheduling it with us or letting us know). They did a small amount of tear down of the siding. They have not been back since nor have they returned any of our numerous phone calls or emails. The contract states that the job would be completed by 6/6/14.Desired Settlement: I either want this job done and completed in the next 2 weeks or a immediate and FULL refund of my down payment. This project HAS to be done before winter and we are running out of time to be able to hire and pour concrete once this job is finished.
Review: We contracted with Edward Bro to remodel our kitchen. We paid him in full when the job was finished and he was supposed to pay the subcontractors. He has to date not paid [redacted] for the countertop cutting and installation.
We received a notice to put a lien on our property if the bill is not paid.Desired Settlement: Pay [redacted] $1470 for the work contracted or send us a check for the total amount and we will pay [redacted].
Review: Roof on our house was not put right a 7 years ago and now we are having tear off and leaking in our ceiling in dinning room. Contractor was called, came and told us to call insurance company, not offering to fix.Desired Settlement: Since no offer to fix problem with roof, just post on the website for others clients.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We reported to you that we had roof issues which JEdward Home Improvement would not take care at beginning but after a few phone call ,they came in aknowlegded the problem and fixed the roof and also celling in our dinning room which sustained minor damage with no problems
