Review: [redacted]'s office performed a service that required payment prior to the service being done. This payment was preapproved by the insurance company and the balance paid by myself. Once this service was completed, they informed me that it was a 2 part procedure and an additional amount was going to be due. At no time did they mention that it was going to be a 2 part procedure and that additional money would be due. To top it all off, they sent an additional bill for the service that was preapproved and that I payed prior to said service. I have made several attempts to contact them, but they do not return calls nor do they respond to letters. Now after several months of not hearing anything, I get a letter and a phone call from a collection agency. The phone number that they called is a cell phone that was not to be given out by the Dr.s office. Now there is another amount that they are requesting, it doesn't seem that the Dr's office knows exactly what the amount is or what the amounts are for.Desired Settlement: I would like to know why there is an additional amount due and if it is an error on the Dr.s office, for them to make right on their error. Also I would request that they withdraw said collection proceedings so further action is not taken.
