The Audi Awith 182,was dropped off at our shop by a different customer (owner) on January 9th, over a year agoThe vehicle has sat parked for a over a year due to an outstanding invoice with the previous owner of the vehicleIn February we were informed that the vehicle was sold to [redacted] We were not the sellers of the vehicle it was a third party transactionThe old owner agreed to pay us the balance on the vehicle and the new owner asked if we could repair a throttle issue that the vehicle had from the previous ownerWe agreed to try and repair the vehicle once the previous owner had paid the outstanding balanceAfter waiting for the previous owner to pay there balance the new owner became frustrated that he had not paid and agreed to pay it so the vehicle could be completedUpon trying to move the vehicle the brakes were seized from sitting outside through two wintersThe vehicle would also no longer runWe finally got the vehicle running/move able and were able to as the overall condition of the vehicleWe feel strongly that this vehicle needs far to much work to pass inspection and the cost of the repairs exceeds the cost of replacing the vehicleWe have offered twice to fully refund the money the new owners have left for the throttle repair as well as the money they paid towards the past invoice from the previous ownerWe would simply like the vehicle to be towed from shop as we feel this vehicle will never be up to the standards that we deem acceptable at our shopI have provided copies of the original invoice with date the vehicle was dropped off as well as a new invoice with repairs the vehicle needsWe sincerely apologize that we are not able to repair the vehicle for the customerSincerely, [redacted] Metric Motors LLc

The 1999 Audi A4 with 182,000 was dropped off at our shop by a different customer (owner) on January 9th, 2013 over a year ago. The vehicle has sat parked for a over a year due to an outstanding invoice with the previous owner of the vehicle. In February we were informed that the vehicle was sold to...

[redacted]. We were not the sellers of the vehicle it was a third party transaction. The old owner agreed to pay us the balance on the vehicle and the new owner asked if we could repair a throttle issue that the vehicle had from the previous owner. We agreed to try and repair the vehicle once the previous owner had paid the outstanding balance. After waiting for the previous owner to pay there balance the new owner became frustrated that he had not paid and agreed to pay it so the vehicle could be completed. Upon trying to move the vehicle the brakes were seized from sitting outside through two winters. The vehicle would also no longer run. We finally got the vehicle running/move able and were able to as the overall condition of the vehicle.
