I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

response from Mr. [redacted] differs greatly from the information I received directly from the plumber in his quote before the work was contracted.  The plumber, Paul [redacted], informed me the charge would be for the time he spent in my home performing the installation.  At no time was I told travel time and time to "acquire parts" would be added to the charge.  First of all, all parts were already on the truck, and to say it took one hour to acquire them is ludicrous.  The parts used were all routine parts that every plumber carries on their truck.  If [redacted] Plumbing charges it's customers an hour (or more) to cover parts acquisition, it is deceptive and unlike all other service providers in the Fox Valley.  I called 13 different plumbers, electricians, and other similar service companies from the area, and not one of them charged "extra" for the time to replace parts used.  They all informed me that this overhead cost is built into the hourly service rate.  What next, do I pay for part of [redacted]'s heating bill or electric bill? I was willing to meet them half-way and pay for some travel time, but since they are now reneging completely on our agreed upon quote, I feel 1.5 hours at $85.00 per hour is what I legally owe them.  Anything more than that is inappropriate, and unacceptable.Regards,
