Review: My mother had taken my son's iPad 2 to iTech Electronic for repair of a cracked screen. The repair took several days. Upon my mother returning with the laptop she stated [redacted] had told her that he had to bend the corners of the laptop in order to repair the crack screen. The iPad had the corners of the laptop severely bent and damaged and the repair that was made had a crack from the pressure of the home button on the screen. The laptop was now non responsive in addition to opening and closing apps and scrolling on its own and it had a crack in the screen which had just been repaired by iTech. I took the iPad back into the store and I asked for [redacted]. The man there stated that he was [redacted]. I told him that my mother brought in the laptop and he had completed the repairs. I stated that the corners of the laptop were severely damaged as well as the crack on the screen was causing issues with the responsiveness of the iPad. I asked about warranty of the work and if he could resolve this issue. He stated to me that when he fixed it everything worked fine. He also stated that me coming into his store and saying there was damage done to my device by him was insulting to him. He stated that he doesn't know what people do to their laptops once leaving the store and it’s not his problem. Though on his website: http://www.itechelectronics.net it clearly states "Most repairs are done within 1 - hour and are backed by a 90-day warranty!” He refused to repair or fix the device. He stated that I would have to pay for a diagnostic as well as pay for the new repairs on the device. I stated to him that it was unreasonable. He told me that he was the manager as well as the owner and if I didn't like it I could take my services elsewhere.Desired Settlement: If the laptop can not be repaired at an alternative location to to the damage done by iTech then I would like a replacement of the device in addition to a refund on my services. If a repair can be made I would like for those repair services to be made by iTech in addition to a refund on my services at iTech.

Review: I tried to find a place for my mother in one of these apartments. We scheduled a tour of one of the rooms, but when we showed up, [redacted] (the manager) was not there. This is when I found out that he does not accept phone calls, ever. We then were able to contact him via text messaging, and he gave us the code to open the door and look around alone. About 40 minutes later, we finally met face to face in his office and discussed what needed to happen to facilitate the move-in. We complied with all of his requests and submitted the application with fee included. My mom was approved for the apartment, however, on 15 September, I attempted to turn in the security deposit of $459 in the form of a money order. His hours of operation that he explained to me was Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1000 to 1600. I showed up to pay the deposit at 1430 and he was not there. I called and texted multiple times with no response. I left and returned at 1530, again he was not there. I waited until 1600 and he never returned, and never answered my calls or called me back. I then returned home and my mom told me that he would not accept the deposit and that she was not allowed to move in. No explanation was given.Desired Settlement: I would like for my mom to move in. We have the money and the application has already been approved. If that is not possible, I believe that we deserve an appropriate response as to why followed by a full refund for the application fee and the security deposit that has already been made out to Whispering Hills Apartments.

Review: Nature of complaint: The repairs resulted in additional damage

Problem description:

I went to Itech to get my ipad mini screen fixed, on Thursday the 6th, so they told me that it will be ready by the next day( that should be Friday the 7th) but they said they will give me a call, I waited till Saturday, they didn't call so I gave them a call, a guy answered me and he said that he will make sure its fixed by monday.. And he will give a call. They open at 10 am so I called at 12:30, I called to see if the ipad was ready and the guy who answered me was the same guy whom I talked to on saturday.. So he began screaming on the phone when I asked about the ipad and he said there are 5 ipads ahead of me and they fix 40 devices everday and they don't know when it will be done and I told him listen because he was screaming, so his answer was shut up and he told me that I am an it, and piece of [redacted] and I better go and get the [redacted] ipad within a couple of hours and he repeated the words " [redacted] several times to me..,!!!!!! So I called a friend of mine who went there and he told me that the guy is an african american,I really dont know his name.. And he refused to give the ipad to him. The next day I called and another guy answered me, his name is [redacted], and I asked to talk to the manager but whenever I tell him my name he tells Me the manager is not avaliable amd I can leave him a message and I gave him my friend's name to authorize him to take the ipad. My friend went that next day as well and took the ipad from [redacted]... And it was in an awful unuseable condition and I took it to apple and they said its tampered and they can't help me with anything.. They took the screen off and I just have the remaining parts of the ipad..till this day I called more than 6 times to talk to the manager and they refuse to let me talk to him. I was insulted and humilitated and I couldn't do anything about it, the ipad is damaged, they are not committed to anything and I have never been in such a situation before. I feel its my responsability to file complain for other people sake so please help me with this situation.

Review: I woke up yesterday morning to about a hundred maggots on my kitchen floor and a few on my living room carpet which is not the first time. I moved the bin from underneath my oven and found a round hole where a rodent could sit and hide, or die. Speaking of rodents, I have a rat in my bedroom closet, spiders in my children's room and no pest control has been delivered for my assistance. My AC unit is currently not working, since last month and neither is my oven (the element is broken) and I have to bang the big eye on my stove to get it to work. I have completed work orders for these matters and the landlord continues to ignore all contact I try to make available which includes calling, texting and knocking on his door. I have two small children and I am a single mother and do not agree with the living arrangements I am in. I wish the landlord would have better communication skills with his tennants. I am not the only tennant who lives here that has issues going on with their resident. I am hoping that NO ONE has to go through what I am going through. There are way too many health harzards and issues going on to even try to stay here. He is also evicting me for being late this month on my rent and in which I informed him of this matter about the first of this month and repplied just make sure I look at my lease about late fees. Yet, with me telling him this, he told another tennant that he wasn't even taking my rent for this month. This is my very first time being late on my rent when I know there are a few other tannants who have been late several times. He fooled me when I scoped the place out on craigslist but don't let the look of the nice apartments fool you, paint, new carpet and floors can look convincing. Thank you to whoever reads this and I hope you look elsewhere if you are looking to rent out an apartment. Thank you again.Desired Settlement: I have been having these problems with the maggots for a little over a month after I moved in (in may). I pay $450.00 rent. July 24th would have made it a whole 4 months i've been living there.

Review: I have been a customer of iTech Electronics before and was returning for the third time when this incident occurred. I brought my iPhone 4 into the shop in need of a new front panel of glass and a replacement button on the top of my phone. They said that they would take care of it in 2-3 hours for $120. After receiving my phone and returning home I noticed that a sensor on the phone that was previously working was not post-repair. Because this sensor was not working, my phone would hang-up on or mute active calls. Additionally the speaker-phone, which had also worked prior to its "repair", was now disabled. I took my phone back less than a week later, because I was out of town immediately after the first repair. The owner, [redacted], said he would look at it and try to find out what was wrong. After 3.5 hours, I returned again with the news that only my speaker-phone had been fixed. He said that I would have to return the next day to find out what was causing the additional issues on my phone, because he had misplaced the repair notes for my phone and he could not show them to me. The next day I received a phone call from the owner [redacted], saying that fixing the internal board would cost $350. After talking with [redacted] about my frustration with the damaging repairs, their lack of customer service, and the general accusatory tone of the conversation, I was blamed for the damage and told I would not receive a refund for the original work. After that I told him I would be coming in to their location to talk about this. He ignored my comment and hung up the phone. I had my mother call to discuss with [redacted]. After this conversation he called me and said that he had contacted the police and if I came to discuss with anyone at the shop, I would be arrested and charged with trespassing. He refuses to honor his policy of 90 day warranty on his service, despite that the issues now present with my phone are internal and caused directly from iTech Electronics working on my phone. I feel scammed out of $120, and nearly conned out of $350 more. The price of the second repair, for the damages that THEY caused, is nearly enough for me to purchase a new phone. In essence, they have totaled my iPhone, refused to honor their own guaranteed warranty, and threatened to have ME arrested for trying to remedy this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the work done on my iPhone that caused the internal damage in the amount of $120. Further more I would request that they pay the additional $130 to have my phone repaired at a separate shop, since I have no interest in using their services in the future, but now have a much more costly problem due to their service.

Review: I brought an Ipod Touch into shop for battery replacement and screen repair. iPod was fully functional aside from repairs needed. At time of quote, I was told a diagnostic check was mandatory for all repairs to ensure nothing else was wrong with device. I left to think about cost and then returned a few days later and said I was ready to proceed with repairs. The gentleman, who I found out later is the owner, acted like he remembered me, got my information and I left. The repairs took longer than I was originally told and, once I received iPod, it is no longer functional. It will not connect to wiFi - that option is grayed out. I called and left a message about it and, after no reply for 3 days, returned to the store. I was told that the item must have been dropped or damaged somehow and was not repairable. I said I had not dropped it since picking it up and it was functional prior to, which he would have seen on the diagnostic exam. I was then told that a diagnostic is NOT mandatory, but optional. Owner refused to even discuss our initial conversation and refused to refund or replace iPod.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for what I paid for repair - $118.97

I ordered a USB adapter for my phone on 6/10/14. It took itech deals 10 days to even process my order. They sent me a bogus shipping label which could not be verified on 6/20/14. Today it's July 2, and they have not replied to my last 3 emails nor have I received my order. I will now report this to every platform I can to ensure they don't pull this scam with anyone else. Fraud is illegal and has consequences.
