Review: I paid ** $6400.00 to purchase a new heat pump and other materials to repair flooring and plumbing issues. He began demolition, then never returned to complete the job. He promised it would be completed in November 2013. January 19, 2014 I requested a refund; he did not respond to this request. On February 25, 2014, I again requested a refund after her failed to show up the day before, and did not respond to my multiple attempts to contact him. On February 26, 2014, he sent a text message indicating he did not have my money any longer, and that he legally had 30 days to issue a refund (even though it was past 30 days since my first request for refund). It has now been more than 30 days since his acknowledgment of my second request to refund my money, and he has not done so, nor has he provided any further communication with me on this matter. I since have suffered catastrophic failure of both plumbing and HVAC systems as a direct result of his failure to repair/replace as agreed upon. In addition, he has left black mold to proliferate in the damaged flooring and wall as well as circulate throughout the house via HVAC ductwork. Also, he left open plumbing; he also left a sink cabinet and flooring materials outside in the elements all winter long. Correcting his unfinished work will undoubtedly cost much more now than if he'd completed the original job as promised.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned, and I would like him to take financial responsibility for all additional expenses incurred as a result of his failure to complete the work as promised. I would also like the appropriate agency to investigate him in regard to revoking his license.
