Husband dropped our camper off Dec 7 for a few minor warranty items to be fixed, and when asked if we wanted it winterized he told them yes. According to the manufacturer TN RV should have had it for 2 weeks tops. They had it for 2 months and Jan in service emailed the excuse they were short staffed, etc and were waiting on a part for our antenna (they could have had that overnighted. It doesn't take 2 months). It finally went to their body shop over 2 months after it was dropped off, for a small delamination warranty issue on one slide. [redacted] tells me, "Service Department dropped the ball and forgot your unit was in the lot, so we're just now hearing about it. Your warranty approval has run out, so it's going to take at least 3 weeks to get the re-approval, another 3 weeks to get parts because they weren't ordered when you dropped it off, and then at least 3-4 weeks to do the work. There's no way we'll have it done in time for you to take it to TX on your job." I called the manufacturer, Highland Ridge, which by the way are awesome. They said that it takes minutes to get the warranty approval again not 3 weeks, they can overnight parts not 3 weeks, and the work should be able to be done within a week. He said get pics and make sure TN RV checks for any leaks. I then called [redacted], a manager at TN RV. I explained to him what his employee [redacted] had told me and what the Manufacturer had told me. [redacted] didn't think there were any leaks, but he was going to do a water test and send more pics of the delamination. I called back a few days later [redacted] answered the phone. I told him what Highland Ridge had said. He proceeded to yell at me, tell me that the warranty company wasn't paying them half of what the job required, they didn't even want to do the work, and he didn't appreciate me calling and talking with his manager. I called back and spoke again to [redacted] and told him how his employee yelled at me. He made no comment or apology. He said they discovered extensive water damage to what appeared the entire slide out, rotting floor, etc, but didn't think the leak was current. Hadn't done the water test yet. [redacted] sent us pictures of outside of the slide where there was all kinds of mold and a piece was hanging down. This is not what our camper looked like over 2 months ago before we dropped it off at TN RV! It looked brand new, because it basically was. We again requested the water test to be done so us and the manufacturer would know if the leak was an ongoing issue. 2 weeks later [redacted] at TN RV calls and tells us that our unit was not winterized so all the pipes and faucets were broken and the black tank was cracked, so we'll have to pay $600 to fix the damage. We explained that we asked for it to be winterized, even if we hadn't they had our camper in their care and it was supposed to be in a heated bay being worked on. It was not supposed to be there in their lot for 3 months all winter long. She said she'd have [redacted] call us back. [redacted] in service called us back instead. He said that the paperwork showed the camper was ready to be picked up Dec 17th and it was our fault that we didn't pick it up even though I have an email from [redacted] in Feb saying the service items were still not done and it hadn't even been sent to body shop till well into Feb. Then he said that there was a bad freeze in November and that the pipes were probably broke before we brought it to them. We researched the weather and there were no freezes in November, and we camped with 20+ people for the last week in November right before dropping it off at TN RV. There was obviously no damage prior. He then told my husband that we would just have to pay and then hung up on him. We emailed [redacted] that we would not be paying for repairs and to just have our camper ready for us to pick it up Monday. We were taking it elsewhere. [redacted] came Monday afternoon. [redacted] told him then that only the faucets were broken, not all the pipes and tank, which they first told us. The inside panels were still pulled out, they let our battery go completely dead, our brand new hitch had been bent 30 degrees so we couldn't hook up and tow away. One of their guys asked Husband to leave. Husband told him he'd love to leave if they'd put our camper back together and fix the hitch that they broke. Husband had to wait an hour for them to take it apart and put it back together. Absolutely the worst company EVER!
