In August we received a service call form ***.We called to respond and she stated it was not an active leak at the timeWe told her we would come service it when we were in her areaOn 11/we had an appointment scheduled with her to address the issuesShe would not let the service tech go into the attic to lookHe then looked in that area they mentioned from the roof exterior and found no flaws in the installation or damageThe owner of Edwards Exteriors thinks that the mold inspector saw an old water stain from previous roof She does not have skylights - she has solar tubesEdwards Exteriors only installed the bases on the roofThe company she purchased the solar tubes from did all the installation of them and should be held accountable for the missing screwsHowever we replaced the missing screws while there

I did not state that the hole was "inactive".  I don't even know what that is supposed to mean.  It is a hold in the roof. Not a good thing.  It needs to be repaired.  I did say that I wanted it repaired before the rain started (winter).
I did not stop the repairmen from going into the attic.  I told them they could but I also said their owner Jim had stated to me that they could not for insurance reasons and that they could find the problem without looking in the attic.  I told them it was up to them.  The attic was available to them if necessary.
In the message, it sounds like they did not repair the hole in the roof.  They did not say that during they visit.  I want the hole repaired.  I really don't think this is a big repair deal.  The whole visit took less than an hour.
The "mold guy" is coming back in a couple of weeks to do his work.  I will have him double-check the situation and give me a paper copy of the issue in the attic.
 
I will setup another repair visit if necessary.  I won't wait more than two weeks for the appointment before I create another Revdex.com complaint.  No one should wait 4 months for an one hour visit.

We were not allowed access to the attic on the service call, we could not see any issues from the roof. Also I have not been advised of any leaks on the ceiling, so we would like to see a picture of this leak or hole which [redacted] says she had somewhere.
