We have used Edwards in the past and been pleased with his work, so I was expecting the same when I scheduled a detail on my mini-van this time around. I made my appointment about two weeks out and arranged my schedule around him coming on a Tuesday morning. On Monday night he called and requested we switch to the afternoon because he missed another appointment that day and needed to reschedule theirs. I stated I couldn't do afternoon because I have three kids that have drop off and pick ups all over town in the afternoon and my carpets wouldn't be dry. Then he requested we switch to Wed and I stated I had to work in the office on Wed and wasn't able to change days. I wasn't trying to be difficult, I just have a complicated schedule and specifically worked around that Tuesday morning slot. He seemed annoyed I wasn't able to switch but confirmed he would arrive at our scheduled time. He was prompt in arriving and I had just finished up cleaning out everything from my car. It needed a vacuum - but I thought that was a part of what I was paying for, When I opened my van doors he seemed visibly annoyed and complained how much extra work this was going to be and raised his price by $30. I was a little taken a back because honestlly the car did need a vaccum job badly, but there is a right and a wrong way to do things. My opinion is that my mini-van is no different than most other mini-vans and this was about something more than just a few goldfish crumbs on the ground in the back seat. He has cleaned my van before and we did not have any issues. However If he felt the car needed more work than a normal mini-van, even if he thought it was the worst mini-van he'd ever seen, he could have expressed that in a kind and professional manner.My guess is he was trying to rush through my car so he could squeeze in both jobs in the morning, or get me to cancel so he could make the other call.

I said I didn't think it was fair to raise the price thirty dollars on the spot, we talked on the phone twice he could have mentioned the car should be vacuumed before I pay $100 for a detail and he basically said forget it and peeled out of my driveway. I was nothing but nice, and don't understand how a business owner can be so unprofessional. I have NEVER in my life written a negative review about anything and I've had some bad pretty bad service. I am just so taken aback by how rudely I was treated. Never again....
