I paid for service that wasn't fixed
Edward's Sprinklers came out to fix our sprinkler pump. I paid them $175. The problem wasn't solved so I called them back to fix it. They didn't come back or call. I called again and was told that they would come out, nothing happened. I called again and left 2 messages and a Facebook message for them to call me. Still nothing. Since this problem has been going on since December I had to hire another company to fix the problem, and of course pay them for that. I was told by the new company Coral Springs Sprinkler that nothing was done prior to their work. They saw no indication of anything new being installed. The problem we were having was that it wasn't being primed, so it wasn't getting water from our canal. So basically I paid for NOTHING and Edward's Sprinklers has refused to call me back.
I would like Edward's Sprinklers to reimburse me the $175 I paid to them. I am not even including the cost of my dead plants,grass and trees from my sprinklers not working for 3 months!
We had initially received a request for service repair August 15, 2017. We had serviced the property on August 19, 2017. Upon diagnosis, the technician discovered that the system needed to have the check valve replaced. Upon approval of the work, our technician replaced the faulty check valve with a new Simmons Brass Check Valve and fittings needed for installation. When the technician had left the property, everything was in correct working order. Payment was received by our office on October 2, 2017 with no indication that there was anything wrong with the repairs made by us.
We were then contacted in January 2018 with a request to come out and see why the system isn't working again. We do attempt to get to every client in a timely manner, but we are quite busy and have projects lined up months in advance.
We had visited your property at the end of February to check out the sprinkler system. Upon arrival, the technician had knocked on the door but there was no one home. The technician attempted to go to the back yard, but it was not safe due a large dog on the property and open patio and house doors. It was believed that the canal suction line had come loose but was unable to verify that since he could not access the back yard.
We did not charge for this service call for our technician to come out. We had called back and left a message stating this and had not heard back.
Please know that we had initially fixed the problem correctly and we strongly believe that there was an event after we had repaired the system that had caused it to not work again. If the problem was due to our repair, we strongly believe we would have been notified immediately or shortly after we had repaired the system and before the payment had been sent in to us.
In order to resolve this matter quickly, we will happy to issue a check for reimbursement to the customer out of good faith.

The response is not accurate. I have not received any phone calls or voicemails from them. If they wanted to access my sprinkler system they should have called first to let me know they received my numerous calls and voicemails. They say they knocked. If I wasn't home they could have accessed the sprinkler pump, since they supposedly worked on it back in the Fall. No, I do not keep my dog outside, he has no access to where the pump is. I would like them to reimburse me my $175 since I had to hire another company and pay them to do the job that should have been done in the first place. The company I hired most recently told me that nothing was replaced, and that Edward's Sprinklers did not do what they said they did.
