My name is [redacted] and I met [redacted] about a year and a half ago at the Limelight Marketplace, where he had a small store and I became a big fan of him and his clothes immediately.After admiring his work for a while, he informed me that he also made custom pieces for his clients in basically any color and size they wanted. So I decided to enlist him to make me a custom Burgandy Leather Vest that was supposed to take TWO WEEKS to make.On 5/*/2012, OVER ONE YEAR AGO, I paid him $280 in cash to make me the leather piece we had discussed. It's now one year later and I have to get a progress report or even receive the finished product. I had been in touch with him constantly throughout this past year but I always got excuse after excuse as to why he had not gotten around to making my vest yet. I never put pressure on him, nor threatened him. In fact I think I have been more than patient and understanding with him.However, it's been way to long now! So, about a month ago, I asked him to refund the money I gave him, and ever since than he has been avoiding me avoiding me by ignoring my calls, texts and emails. I even went to the Limelight to try to resolve this issue and I was SHOCKED to find an empty space where his store used to be. He never sent me notice that he was leaving the marketplace and never told me where he was moving to. So essentially he got away with highway robbery. Over and over again and again, I have kindly continued to ask him to refund me the money I gave him but he has yet to reply. I have even tried to email his employees about this matter.I still think [redacted] is a wonderful person and a great creative spirit; however his business practices are extremely unethical. He is acting unprofessional and childish. He makes more excuses and empty promises than anyone retail business owner I know!I'm am so over this situation! I would like it resolved but I can't find him anywhere. I hate that I had to make a public complaint about his business but I'm at a lose.
