Review: I purchased a vehicle from this place and within the first week the car I purchased was having issues. I took it back to the dealer and because I drive past my house by the end of COB that day the car was still sitting in the lot. I asked Edwin what it was still doing there and he said the mechanic didn't have time to check it, I stated that it should have stayed with the mechanic instead of sitting on his lot. Instead I had to take it myself, a couple days later the mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Edwin told me to keep driving the vehicle and that it should be OK, but since the mechanic couldn't hear the noise it was making he couldn't fix it. Less than a week later the car broke down where you could clearly hear it was the transmission , I had to pay for a tow to the dealer, and the car stayed with him for a week before they "fixed it." Less than a month and the car was breaking down on me. Even after the car was returned to me it kept making noise and kicking back every time I changed gears. I went to Edwin and I told him it was best he just kept the vehicle and give me my money back. He said he felt bad and was sorry that the car was giving me so much trouble but to first see if I'd like another car instead, I let him know I would just bring my father with me. He said he'd let me see if I'd choose another car and if not I could get my money back but he would have to take away for taxes. I let him know I was fine with that. Yesterday I went to just get my money returned and he told me that he never said that and that I misunderstood. He argued that he only stated he would exchange it for another vehicle not that he would return my money, that I will not get my money back. He took the car back, won't give me at least my down payment back, and took all my contract paperwork saying he would take care of it when I returned it.Desired Settlement: Would like my down payment of $899.00 returned.
