Review: I booked a move with Eeasymoving for a Thursday at 11 am. The day before my scheduled move, [redacted] from Eeasymoving called to say they needed to move the arrival time to 12. I reluctantly agreed, but only after I stressed the importance of the movers arriving on time, as we had a non-negotiable, limited 2.5 hour window to move our belongings into our new building. [redacted] assured me that they would be on time, and if they were not, I would be issued a credit. On the move day the movers arrived 4.5 hours late. [redacted] called at noon to tell me that the movers would arrive in 30 minutes. At 12:30, [redacted] said the movers were almost there and then she stopped answering all of my calls. In fact, the movers did not show up until 3:40 and were unapologetic. We were completely past our window to move into our new building. I persuaded the super to allow us to move up until 6pm. My boyfriend was forced to help Eeasymovers carry/load everything because of the time crunch. At 4:45 we had to stop and go over to the new building in order to unload before the 6pm cutoff, leaving a significant amount of my stuff behind. Both my boyfriend and I then helped the movers get all our belongings into the new apartment. When the truck was empty we attempted to agree on a plan to move the remainder of the items. We were told, rudely, that they had to leave for another job, even though everything was NOT moved. Finally, one of the movers, [redacted], agreed to come back to help us move the remaining items in our OWN CAR from the old place to the new one the next morning. He did show up and assist myself and my boyfriend move the items in our car. Later, I contacted Eeasymoving via e-mail to negotiate some kind of refund, as per [redacted]'s promise. Instead, I was insulted, called a liar and threatened. Eeasymoving refused to issue any refund. Further, Eeasymoving said they made up for their tardiness for not over charging us and that I was not the first customer to be unhappy with that exchangeDesired Settlement: I would like a partial refund. I acknowledge that some my belongings were moved by Eeasymoving. However, I had to do more than 1/3 of the work, use my own car, and have the stress and anxiety of them being VERY late, not keeping me informed and negotiating with a very unhappy super in the new building. I stressed to them many, many times how important the time was. I think I am entitled to at least a $200.00 refund. I feel that they should give me more, but I am trying to be reasonable
