Dear Kathy,We stand behind the solution to the homeowner's problem Unfortunately, the homeowner has received advice from other companies that cannot do the work that we do and a plumber who does not waterproof basements Our track record speaks for itself We have done thousands of homes and are committed to solving her issue This is the only solution that we are prepared to offer since this is a solution that has been proven to work The contract that she signed states "the services provided by this agreement will not make the basement area service impermeable to water and additional service may be required should subsequent seepage occur" We are willing to do the additional service that will solve her issue if she would allow us Again, this is our solution.Thank you,Caryn T [redacted]

I sent an e mail on 10/2/to [redacted] as I was instructed, and today...it returned to my r mail as undeliverableI have attached that same document to this response that outlines why I reject Everdry's proposalAdditionally, I have had a plumber ( [redacted] ) at my house today, and it was confirmed that the main sump pump (pumps installed by Everdry) is routed into the septic system illegally as this is against the Health Departments rules, and the backup pump that only operates if there if overflow, is routed just outside the North west corner of the house into the yard,,,,where the water would lay as there is no drain off thereIt was questioned today why these lines were installed in this manner and why a discharge line would literally stop less that 24' from the house wall. Please read my attached letterEverdry has proven to be unreliable and I have no trust in their latest recommendation given they want to put the exact same system back in that failed before...continuously for yearsAnd while the plumbing company today was not consulted about my foundation issue but only for the sump pump, they also indicated that putting perforated pipe and gravel in feet below ground, but having no outlet of external drainage for water at the foundation level would not solve the problem Regards, [redacted]

Dear Kathy, Today we have sent the homeowner a check for $3,to cover the cost of the preparation of his basement so we can redo the inside of his work This work will be completed in Mid April.Thank you, Caryn T [redacted]

My apologies to the homeowner for not following up We will be more that happy to discuss the options that he has stated in his complaint If possible, can we please make an appointment through the Revdex.com for the Production Manager and myself to come out and discuss these options Upon completion of the discussion we will provide you with the outcome of the conversation.Thank you,Caryn

The technician Adam who came to the home on 7/27/17, states they want break up the west floor to drill holes through the basement footer to the outside into a gravel bed to allow water to enter into the inside system and be directed to a sump pumpHe claims that he "thinks" the problem is hydrostatic pressure from the ground water, but could not explain why the problem is at its worst when there is surface waterBoth times recently when water was running down the walls in multiple locations, there had been rain, or the soaker hose was on in the flower bed...thus surface water was running down the outside walls allowing water to pool against the walls at least inches up from the footerWhen questioned why they did not seal around the well pipe when they dug out the west wall in the winter, he responded that they do not seal around pipesThey just apply tar and plastic to the wall....so an open hole was left to allow water to enterAdditionally, they cannot return until late October to perform the second stage of putting black drain pipe inches below ground on the west side (the next paragraph explains why this is happening)Not sure where they plan on diverting it to.When asked if they replaced the black drainage line that had been there when they tarred the wall....Adam (the technician) did not know...he had to call in only to find that it the pipe had been removedWhen he was questioned why water was entering through the wall at inches above the floor and higher in a few spots if there was tar sealing the wall....he only state that there is no way that water was coming in with the tar....even though I offered to show him the video to prove thisWhen I asked him why water is still entering on the southwest corner if they repaired it like I was told by the previous tech (I believe it was Shawn) in January or February when they dug up the wall.....Adam stated that that work was not done after he called in to check......thus I was told a repair was being done, but it was not.I do not feel that Everdry has displayed competency with resolving this problemThis is not the first time they have entirely dug up that wall, and water still entersEverytime they dig up the flower bed, plants are killed and they do not reimburse for the landscaping fees I incur....and the last time, they left a significant amount of gravel in the yard scattered everywhereThere is wall damage and crumbling brick on the basement wall from water continuing to enter, and it is getting much worse....but they will not repair as their warranty only covers coming in to try to stop waterThe tech insists drilling through the floor is the answerI have since had different companies come in to assess the situation to determine if busting up the floor and drilling holes in the footer is appropriate, and both companies said noThey both indicate that the surface water drainage is the first problem, and if the entire perimeter was not prepped correctly with drain tile below the footer on a nearly year old house....that water would likely continue to assault the walls until the surface water issue was addressedBoth companies strongly advised to not drill through the footerAdditionally, the technician asked me what I thought should be doe to fix the problem.....that question alone indicates that there is either a level of incompetence, a level of arrogance, or complete indifference since they already have their money [redacted]

It is not true They knew we had more complaints because the gentlemen that came out after we called Ever Dry took all our complaints and he said that he would take it back to the Business and tell them what was going on The whole problem we have with the work and what they did deals with the fact that Chris P [redacted] , the sales representative, misrepresented what they would actually do and what they didChris P [redacted] , the sales representative, told us that they would dig down to the footers of our house and would take out the dirt and would level the crawl space and encapsulate the whole crawl space That is not what happened They only dug inches and not to the footersChris told us that we only needed one electric outlet, knowing full well that there would have to be electric outlets to cover all that needed to be plugged inChris also told us that the whole crawl space would be covered with the Poly Seal They did not do that, not even when they came back to correct what they did.Out whole complaint is based on the fact that we were lied to from the beginning and were told one thing by Chris, the sales representative, and when they finished and Mr [redacted] went under the house into the crawl space that night none of the work that Chris said would be done was doneMark called the company and asked to speak to one of the managers and when he got on the phone he just blew Mark off and acted like he was nobodyWe had to actually call the company again to get someone to come out and look at what they did compared to what they should have doneWe also sent pictures of what they did, to the company.Yes, the company sent people out to correct the problemsBut they still did not do what Chris, the sales representative, said they would doWe still do not have what we were told that we would have"NO" this complaint has not been settled or taken care of and we are still very much upset with this company What we were told by Chris and what they did is totally different If Mark had not gone under the house and looked to see what they had done we would never have known that it was such a mess If we had known that they were not doing what they said they would do, we would never have used this Company

Dear ***,After the initial conversation between our representative and the [redacted] our manager went back to their home and explained further on what we do They were looking to decrease their energy bills with a system in their crawl space. We insulated the band boards to help with that concern They seemed to be ok with that.Keep in mind, our waterproofing system is the only system that was recognized to help with energy costs and was recognized by the federal government in that regard Our system was the only waterproofing system to carry an energy tax credit from the federal government. We would still be more than happy to review this and any other concerns that Mr& Mrs [redacted] have in regard with their foundation.Thank you,Caryn T [redacted]

Read your own online warranties and guaranteesPlease review the multiple trips and service calls over the past yearsWhile your system may have worked on some, it clearly failed on my homeI have a plethora of photographs, videos of water running down walls, and clear and obvious damage to the walls from water continuing to enter....that is NOT a seepage problemAdditionally, the sump system you installed was done so in violation of the Health Department guidelines, and what we now know if that the pipe you have that routed into is the old septic system that has no outlet....but may well explain why I had a cave in this past summer at the corner of the houseRegardless of whether it was a functioning or non functioning system, it was installed improperlyThe damage to the walls where water has continued to enter has became excessiveWhy would up not seal an entire wall but run perforated pipe along it so that water could still enter.?The original seal that was done was on a short distance below ground level, thus the entire lower walls and footer were left vulnerable to water entry, which has continued for yearsThe second seal on the west wall is less than months old but leakingIf your system is proven and effective, why have there been so many service calls for the same area, and why is this wall leaking in multiple locations if the system was proven, solid, and correctly installed????I am not willing to have more destruction.....you have no idea of the qualifications of any of the parties that I have sought counsel in, thus it is juvenile of Everdry to assume everyone is ignorant nor qualifiesFrom my perspective, Everydry has not proven to have a reliable system or service in my home, and their scare tactic approach of the ""bad" mold they found on their initial consultation was just that...a scare tactic to get consumers to buy into their product....and I unfortunately fell for itAs I indicated, I no longer trust their so called expertise as it has clearly failed and cost me more moneyI do not agree to Everdry reinstalling a system that already failedIt is clear that they do not want to fix the problem but rather reinstall something that has not worked all alongI request that they repair the basement walls where there is clear damage from the continued water entry (which they already proposed to repair), reimburse for the emergency call when water was entering in June...that resulted in my insurance company threatening to drop my insurance because of the wall damage and continued water entry, and reimburse for the lost top soil, plants, and shrubs that were lost because of repeated digging and uprooting. It is a sin that I have to pay twice to take care of a problem when Everdry's salesperson assured me I would have a dry basement when they were done,..and basement that could be finished

Dear ***, Since this is with our legal counsel, I will direct this to him immediatelyHe will contact them shortly Thank you,

Thank you for your information We will be visiting Mr*** on 07/ My Service Manager will be contacting him soon We will be glad to have his carpet cleaned after we perform the service this time We value Mr*** as a customer and will be there to service his
needs.Thank you,Caryn T***

Caryn from Everdry is stating that they would not do what the person from Everdry who was in my home in July stated that they would do...and that was to bust up the floor and drill holes through the footerI do not know who to believeDoes Caryn know what they are doing or do the field workers just do whatever they want?On July 28th when the Everdry "supervisor was in my basement, it was his statement and solution to drill holes through the footer....certainly not mine as I had never heard of this beforeHe further explained that the current system that they placed initially where they busted the floor up and placed gravel and drain pipe in the basement was supposed to have caught ground water pushing up (hydrostatic pressure), but he thought that there could be hyydrostatic pressure pushing against the outside walls (audio recording available)...and witness presentHis explanation was to bust the floors, drill holes through the footer to route the water inside into the inside drain systemHe further argued that there was no way for water to be coming in at various points in the wall because they had sealed it in January....even though offered to show him video footage of water entering through and running down the walls at various locations since January 2017.....he declined to watch the videoAlso, when questioned about the repairs that I was told would be done on the southwest corner in Jan 2017....he called into the office only to find that that work had not been done....nor had the black perforated pipe been replaced in JanuaryI also pointed out where the continuing water entry through the walls had damaged my walls where the walls are now crumbling in places, but was told that they are not responsible for repairing that.....even though it is caused by water continuing to enter.....none of this was present when they installed the system initially, but has developed rapidly over the past 2-yearsI want my foundation system fixed and fixed properly.....not pieced out over yearsMy insurance company (*** * ***) was going to cancel my homeowners insurance because of the foundation water leaking through the walls and the degree of damage to the walls and wanted the repairs done immediatelyI have been forced to change insurance companies to try to avoid total loss of coverage.....and now, Caryn from Everdry states that drilling holes through the footer is something they would not doafter the Everdry rep stood there and told us that is what they were going to doI have lost complete faith in their ability to rectify the problem, and if they were wanting to resolve this, why are they dragging their feet for weeks on end?.....And because of their inability to rectify it before now, I have inside wall damage that is being repaired, and Everdry should at least be partially responsible for reimbursement since continued water entry caused the problems.I will once again try to contact Everdry to get this "Field Supervisor"....but I certainly hope that it is not the same one who stood in front of me telling me they were going to drill the holes in the floor.....and I hope they can talk to me before 10/11....as that is when they were going to undertake the destruction in my basement....which I am not going to allow

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention
Ms***, did call our office in regard to her pump and we
came out to make repairs promptly.
We have not seen any evidence to back up Ms***’s
claim. In all fairness, we would like to
see copies of Ms***’s electric bills for the months in question as well as
December 2015, along with January and February for comparison
I can understand that Ms*** may have felt that this was
the cause of such a dramatic spike in her bills based on the comments made by
our technicians, however, we have contacted the manufacturer of the pump that
is being used in Ms***’s home. This
is a smart pump and has the capability of being monitored from a distance via
and cellular connection. The
current pumps being used for Everdry customers are the same pump just without
the connection
Currently our manufacturer has a customer using this pump
and it pumps out 852,gallons of water over the course of days with a run
time of hours. This results in an
approximate cost of $- $
If our pump was to run nonstop and the thermal coupling
would not turn the pump off for safety reasons, the pump would run for
approximately straight hours and could potentially ad to the electric of
the home $- $90. However, this is
unlikely to happen, as the unit would probably burn up
We are concerned that there may be another event happening
in her home to cause such a spike in electric
As a measure of goodwill, we are willing to give Ms***
the sum of $for the increases in Janand Feb. We would, however like to have the copies of
the bills as I stated before, prior to compensation. We also advise Ms*** in the future to
contact us sooner if the pump seems to be malfunctioning to protect her home
from any risks
Thank you,
Caryn T***
General Manager

After examining my basement, Everdry agreed to the interior waterproofing job. It is scheduled to be done from 4/16/- 4/18/2018. They have also agreed to pay for a contractor to demo around my radiators, remove the radiators, etc., and then put the radiators back and re-finish around them. They also said they will pay to have my carpet put back down after the work is completed. I am still waiting to get a final quote from my carpet guy. After that, I will submit the quote to EverdryBased upon Everdry's failure to keep their word in the past (i.erepairing my doors, etc.), I respectfully request that the complaint stay open until Everdry has followed through with their promises. If they in fact keep their end of the agreement and the work is done satisfactorily, I plan on closing out the complaint at that time

We are scheduled to see the homeowner on 10/to finish her concerns Before we do that We will have the Senior Field Inspector visit her at her convenience so she may review the situation with him and review the pictures of the repairs that have been done As far as drilling through the footer, that is not something that we would do If there is any damage to her landscape, we will reimburse her for the plants. Please have her contact us to let us know when it would be convenient for her to have the Senior Field Inspector out.Thank you,Caryn T***

We are not happy with the job That we were laid to about what they were going to do

Dear ***,In response to the homeowners request, I apologize for not returning her call I was out of the office and have just returned We would like the opportunity to come out to see what is causing the odor to give her some ways to get rid of it I cannot do that without looking at it We can discuss the options with her then. Thank you,Caryn T***

Thank you for bringing this to our attention We have spoken to the homeowner and have told him to get an estimate We received the estimate and have let the homeowner know that we have agreed to pay to have the siding repaired He will receive the check made out to the
repair company in 5-business days Thank you,Caryn T***

Thank you ***, for making us aware We have been in contact with the homeowner and are currently working to resolve the concerns. Thanks you,*** ***

Thank you for the information regarding Mr& Mrs***s We will be more than happy to meet with the *** regarding their concerns We will do what we can to correct the issues at hand Please have them contact Ken B*** to arrange a time to meet.Thank you,Caryn T***

Ma’am,Prior to submitting my complaint, Everdry requested to come to my houseI agreed and set a day, to which they agreedThey then failed to call or show up at allThat was three weeks ago and I still have never received so much as a phone call from them. They are basically just doing yet another service call, which is what they have been doing for the last two (2) years without resolving my situationI’m not really sure what I can do at this pointIs having another service call my only option? Is there anything else I can do? I apologize if I come across as frustratedThis company has been unable / unwilling to take care of my problems since day one.. If another service call is my next step, they can come out on Monday November at 10:AM. Sincerely,*** ***###-###-####
