Hi [redacted]
You can send it back for inspection and we can look to see if it
was a factory defect. However, do to the fact we do not know the conditions in
which it was used without obvious defect it would not be a warranty issue.

Each Flag Pole and Wind Sock Pole is clearly labeled with the attached label instructing customers: Caution: Do not use near overhead electrical wires. Recommend lowering during high winds. Mr. [redacted] himself states he was notified by us at the time of purchase "the first thing I was told was to take it down on windy days." Mr. [redacted] purchased a fiberglass pole and living in Yuma, AZ is aware that the area is subject to high winds and wind gusts. Since he was purchasing a flexible "fiberglass" pole and not a steel or Aluminum rigid pole we recommended he lower it in high winds.
Mr. [redacted] returned the pole to us for inspection. Upon receipt and inspection it was apparent the damage was not do to material defect, but do to mishandling or misuse. Thus not covered under the warranty. We did at that time offer to repair the pole for the cost of the replacement part ($9.18) plus return shipping ($5.78) for a total of $14.96. Since Mr. [redacted] had purchased another pole from us we felt this was a fair compromise and would allow us to get a working pole back to him in a timely manner.
We will continue to honor this offer to Mr. [redacted] until April 15, 2014. If he does not feel this is acceptable or we do not hear back we will return the pole to him as we received it.
Please rest assured as a company serving both domestic and international markets we make every effort to rectify issues to the customers satisfaction as soon as we are notified of an issue. We made the same effort in the case of Mr. [redacted].

Warranty issues: Two months after installation a sensor went bad. I called and got a Tec and went step by step to check and make sure it was the sensor and nothing else. Customer service would not make themselves available for phone conversation- email only. Then customer service wanted further checks. I offered to send the defective sensor to them and got no response- after a few days I tossed it. I ordered and paid for a sensor myself. Eventually they sent one and wanted the old one or warranty would be voided. I feel they try to avoid honoring the warranty. Compare to Amazon- If it is bad send it back no questions asked.
