We moved in months ago and were not told at the time that there were extensive renovations planned for the entire buildingAs a result we lost access to most of the amenities that caused us to choose this buildingThe gym has been closed for month, the pool will be closed for the season, the main access road has been blocked off for an excavation, there is construction planned for right outside our window, the power and water get cut off at least once a month, and the construction noise throughout the day is --according to my decibel meter at least-- equivalent in volume to "loud singing" or "freeway traffic"Oh, and the mail stopped being delivered to the building so now we can only pick it up from a post office once a week
While the apartment itself is nice we wouldn't have picked it if we'd known it was going to be like this
