Review: I received a bill for canceling my son's therapy appointment. According to them, I did not cancel in time even though [redacted] was in a state of emergency (Hurricane Sandy. I only received one bill from them in October and nothing since. Now, I received a notice from a collection agency. This is not fair.Desired Settlement: I want a bill from them and not a collection agency. I would have paid the bill if I would have gotten another invoice.

I never received a letter in November. I never received notice I was going to be sent to a collection agency. Any other business would have gotten in touch with me. If I had I would have paid the outstanding bill. Renee has my email and my cell phone number and since the matter was in my name, she should have connected me and not my husband. This is unprofessional and not right.

We have already responded to this complaint by providing the facts and documentation to support them. The only thing we have not provided is the voicemails and emails from [redacted]'s husband, [redacted]. If you would like them forwarded, please let us know and we will do so. We sent out the final invoice addressed to both parties and neither responded as [redacted]s husband made it very clear in November 2012 that they were not paying it. The only resolution to this complaint is to pay the outstanding balance to the Collection agency or send the payment to us and we will notify the collection agency of its receipt.

ECS never contacted me. I DID NOT receive any voicemails from anyone. The bill was in my name and you should have called me on my phone, email, or at work. I did pay the collection agency and I NEVER said I would not pay you. My husband may have said that, but I did not. You are a liar and unprofessional. As you can see from this website, the city was still in a state of emergency when my son's appointment was scheduled. [redacted] The last paragraph states, "The City remains under a state of emergency until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday." My son's appointment was at 4:00. You know [redacted] would not take her son out in a state of emergency, why should I? I have worked hard to have good credit, I was a client of yours since 2009 and I often recommended clients to you. All of this over $25.
