Hi, I am looking to report a business that claimed to be licensed. I kindly asked for my down payment money back after finding out a business did subpar work on a prior piece done in my home (floor joist). I was not about to let Seth Nicholson of Efficiency one, LLC do any work after he had continuously put off coming for over three weeks. I found plenty of bad reviews on substandard work and how he cheated others even with a contract. I thought there would be no issue with a licensed individual, but I have reason to believe he lied about having a license. He refused to show me. I have also put in a report with the licensing board of home builders in ***, Alabama. I would love to get my money refunded so he cannot others. I already asked him repeatedly, had my lawyer send a letter, had my husband text, etc. So I put reviews up on social media that were from other people as well. This is not just me he has deceived!!

Refund I would like a full refund of $2800 or 2800 less cost of materials, the materials, and a receipt for materials. This amount includes downpayment for services/materials at 2500 and a $300 job that was done poorly per two professional opinions.
