THIS JOB WAS THOUGH CALIFORNIA FIRST, WHERE THE UPGRADES ARE FINANCED THOUGH THE HOMEOWNERS PROPERTY TAXES. THE CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENTS WOULD FIRST HAVE TOGO THOUGH CALIFORNIA FIRST. CAL FIRST WOULD GIVE US THE OK TO PROCEED AFTER THEY DID THERE RE-SEARCH ON AVAIL FUNDS AND
QUALIFY THE HOMEOWNER.I AM SORRY IF MRSHICKS FELT PRESSURED.THE CONTRACTS ARE BOTH CANCELLED AND NEVER APPROVED BY CALIFORNIA FIRST TO PROCEEDTell us why here

I HAVE ALREADY SENT A BREAK DOWN OF THE COST BEFORE. I WILL SEND ANOTHER ONE TODAY.
THE INSTALLATION WAS INSPECTED AND PASS BY THE STATE INSPECTOR.  MRS. [redacted] AND I
WERE PRESENT AT THE INSPECTION.  THE STATE INSPECTOR FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE
EQUIPMENT OR INSTALLATION AND SIGNED OFF ON THE PERMIT AS FINAL.  I ALSO PAID FOR A LOCAL
COMPANY FROM SUNNYVALE TO INSPECT THE WORK BEFORE THE STATE INSPECTOR DID HIS INSPECTION
TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE TO CODE AND ADDRESS MRS. [redacted] CONCERNS.  THEY
FOUND NOTHING WRONG THAT WOULD MAKE THE WATER PIPES MADE A NOISE.  WE TRIED TO DUPLICATE THE NOISE
SEVERAL TIMES BUT,  IT NEVER MADE THE NOISE WHILE WE WERE PRESENT.
THERE MAYBE A PRE EXISTING CONDITION WITH THE PIPES THAT WE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ON THE
MOBILE HOME.  ALL WE DID IS CHANGE THE EQUIPMENT.
WE INSTALLED A NEW WATER HEATER AND FURNACE.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is...

satisfactory to me.
If they really do what they say.  After I contacted the person that had me sign the contract papers to pay for the water heater & furnace and told him I had contacted your company (10 minutes later I had the promise of the above).  Don't have much faith in them.

We just received a solicitation phone call from a young woman with a lot of noise and laughter in the background; when the homeowner picked up the phone, the caller asked for a younger member of the household by first name. When the younger member of the household came on the line, the caller asked if she was speaking with the homeowner and was informed that she was not. The caller was asked why she was calling and she then insisted on speaking with the homeowner about EES's offers for homeowners under the State of California's Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program. She was told that the family does not accept solicitation calls and was asked to remove our number from the business's call list. (We are on the federal Do Not Call registry, by the way.) The caller refused to take our phone number off of the business's call list and said she would just call back another time. She was told not to call back and to remove our number from the business's call list, and instead of simply acknowledging the request, she hung up the phone while we were still speaking. This was an abusive and misleading call. The homeowner is a matter of public record and these days it is easy to look up on the internet (at least in Alameda County). The child's name is not on the title and we have no clue why they would be addressed as a homeowner. EES is apparently paying for some cut-rate vendor to provide them with incorrect data that is not even garnered from free, publicly available sources. Hanging up on us while speaking was pure nastiness. Why would this business go out of its way to pay someone to call us and mistreat us? Do William Hill and Tim Kwan, the business owners, really think that any further calls placed to our home will garner a positive sales result? Unbelievable.

I called this company because I was qualified through California first to get a new roof. I contacted this company and set up an appointment. It was scheduled for the following Tuesday. On Monday morning I received a confirmation phone call about the date and time of my estimate. the salesman then proceed to tell me that my wife needed to be their for the estimate. I explained to him that we were receiving other quoted from other company's and even if the rep gave us the best offer from all our quotes we would not be making a decision as to what company we were going to go with the following day. He proceeded to explain how it would be wasting his reps time to sit and talk with me with out my wife present.
Here is my issue. This is a high pressure sales tactic. I assumed because the A- rating and the vetting from the California first company this would be a decent company to do business with however after my interaction with their confirmation call. I canceled my appointment with them as I wont do business with them. Please lower their rating they do not deserve to be in the A category. They deserve a C+ at best.

EVERYTHING SHOULD BE RESOLVED.  ROOF REPLACEMENT IS SCHEDULE FOR MAY 11, 2015.  WE HAVE NOT BEEN PAID BY THE FINANCE COMPANY [redacted]  WE DO NOT GETPAID TILL THE JOB IS FINISHED.  WE HAD A 3 WAY CALL WITH THE CUSTOMER, [redacted] AND EFFICIENT ENERGY SOLUTIONS TO CLARIFY...

ANY MIS UNDERSTANDINGS.I FEEL THAT THIS MATTER HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND LOOK FORWARD INSTALLING A NEW ROOF FOR THE CUSTOMER.Tell us why here...

All of the customers complaints are unfounded. Homeowner purchased a Heating and Air system along with Blown in Attic Insulation on 2-19-2014. We installed a new roof package unit on her roof (furnace and air...

conditioning) on 4-24-14. The Sacramento City Building permit was issued 2-26-2014. Pursuant to State Building Code after the installation a third party (independent) duct test must be done. Her duct test failed. At that point the homeowner became very upset. I explain to her that we sealed the ducts the best we could before the duct test was administered. I informed her at that time that new ducts would run approximately $200.00 per duct run. She continued to be upset so I told the homeowner we would install all new ducts for free. The home owner agreed.
The hurdle was she was getting her floors done and would not let us come back and re do the duct work or install the blown in attic installation. We called many times to finish the job. Homeowner was either having other work (painting) on the house being done or busy at work and did not have time for us to finish the work. Finally in early August Homeowner allowed us to install new ducts and do the Attic Insulation. Once the new ducts were installed we called for a re test for the ducts. This time the duct test passed. At that point we called for a final inspection from the building department.
The inspector wrote up 10 items that needed to be done. Items 1 & 2 referred to smoke alarms in the bedrooms and hallway. Smoke alarms are the homeowners responsibility but, I was willing to install them for the homeowner at no charge but, I could not get to the house in time to install them before the inspection. We have them and homeowner needs 4 total. They take 10 minutes each to install. Items 3 thru 6 have to do with small items at the unit on the roof. We did those corrections the next day. Item 7 provide insulation certificate. The certificate was not present at inspection and we have it now ready for the inspector.
Item 8 install breaker label. We have it and ready to install it. It will take 5 minutes or less to label. Item 9 & 10 has to do with a insulation wrap on a existing metal duct in the garage that we did as a accommodation to the homeowner. It had nothing to do with our installation. The tape came loose and we need to re tape it. Inspector ask us to seal the seal at the wall also. This work will take no more than 30 minutes to do. We are willing and able to complete the work at any time. The permit will expire on 2-25-2015. We have all the items for the correction notice ready to finish. The Homeowner has promise many times to let us finish but, each time something new comes up. We have all the records phone messages, reports, permits and certificates for anyone to review or inspect at anytime.

Review: Efficient Energy Solutions has been to my house 6 + visits (H/AC) - job is not complete! Poor, incomplete, sloppy workmanship in many areas of this job. A heating air conditioner was installed with many incomplete procedures. (Example - Air conditioning/heating ducts in garage have been wrapped on 3 different dates - All 3 have come apart - due to wrong materials, no straps and not sealed, etc.) The last final inspection FAILED and inspector wrote 10 + items not completed, not done properly no smoke alarms, no co alarm etc, etc, etc I received ?? A letter from this company indicating HVAC corrections were done - they have not been to my house since it failed county inspection. How could the work be completed?Desired Settlement: I do not want any dealings with this poor company. I want my $1,000 deposit returned and H/AC unit returned to them.

I CANNOT FIX ANYTHING IF THE HOME OWNER WILL NOT LET US COME BACK. THE DUCT IN THE GARAGE WAS JUST A WRAP THAT WE DID AS A ACCOMMODATION . THE TAPE FAILED AND WE AREPREPARED TO REPAIR/REPLACE IT. THIS IS A RETRO FIT/REPLACEMENT JOB. THERE COULD BE SOME PRE EXISTING ITEMS THAT WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ADDRESS AND FIX.BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I HAVE A BUILDING PERMIT WITH A CORRECTION NOTICE THAT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED AND SIGNED OFF BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT.WE HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A YEAR TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THE HOMEOWNER HAS PUT US OFF LONG ENOUGH. I CANNOT MAKE OUT THE PICTURES THAT WERE SENT BUT, WE ARE WILLING TOADDRESS EACH ITEM ONE BY ONE. OF COURSE IF THERE ARE ADDTIONAL ITEMS NOT ON THE CORRECTION NOTICE THAT SHE WOULD LIKE US TO ADDRESS IT WILL TAKE MORE THAN A HOUR TO FIX.I CANNOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL I CAN REVIEW IN PERSON THE EXTRA ISSUES.WE HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT AND OUR INTENTION IS TO COMPLETE WORK AND GET PAID. THE HOMEOWNER HAS ONLY GAVE US A SMALL DEPOSIT. THE HOMEOWNER GAVE US A PROGRESS PAYMENTOF $5000.00 AND SIGN A COMPLETION STATEMENT AFTER THE HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING WAS INSTALLED AND BEFORE WE DID THE ATTIC INSULATION. BECAUSE THE DUCT TEST FAILED BECAUSE OF HOW BAD THE DUCTS WERE WE GLADLY GAVE HER BACK HER $5000.00 PROGRESS PAYMENT. WE RE INSTALLED NEW DUCTS AND THEN COMPLETED THE ATTIC INSTALLION.WE CALLED FOR A FINAL INSPECTION AND ONCE THE CORRECTION NOTICE WAS ISSUED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT THE HOMEOWNER HAS NOT LET US FINISH OUR WORK. WE HAVE TO HAVE A FINAL FOR THE PERMIT. IT IS THE LAW. EXAMPLE, I GOT A CALL FROM HOMEOWNER ON 2-4-15 TO LET ME KNOW SHE WOULD BE IN SACRAMENTO BETWEEN 2-12 AND 2-17-15 SO THAT WE COULD FINISH THE JOB. SHE WOULD LET ME KNOW WHICH DAY WOULD BE BEST FOR HER ON ANY OF THOSE DAYS. I SAID GREAT WE WILL BE AVAIL. ANYDAY. I DID NOT HEAR FROM HOMEOWNER SO I CALL HER ON FRIDAY 2-13-15. SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND SHE WOULD CHECK WITH HER SON IN LAW AND SEE IF HE WOULD BE ABLE TO LET US IN THE HOUSE TO FINISH THE WORK AND SHE WOULD GET BACK TO US. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK. NOW TODAY 2-18-15 HOMEOWNER CALLED MID MORNING AND DEMANDED I FAX A COPY OF THE INSULATION CERT TO HER RIGHT AWAY. I HAD THE FILE WITH ME IN MY TRUCK BECAUSE I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WE WOULD BE ABLE TO FINISH THE JOB AT THE END OF LAST WEEK OR BEGINNING OF THIS WEEK. SINCE I HAD THE FILE AND WAS ON A JOB IN THE BAY AREA I COULD NOT FAX RIGHT AWAY. I STOPPED WHAT I WAS DOING AND GOT THE INSULATION CERT FAXED TO HER ABOUT A HOUR LATER.I TOLD THE HOMEOWNER THAT ALL OF THIS IS SILLY AND PLEASE JUST LET US FINISH OUR WORK AND GET THE BUILDING FINAL. WE ARE READY AND ABLE TO FIX, REPAIR AND REPLACE ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE EVEN IF IT IS NOT RELATED TO OUR SCOPE OF WORK..ell us why here...

Review: A salesman came out and pressured my 85 year old grandmother into replacing her roof and AC unit. The roof was going to cost over 13K and AC 8K.After she contacted myself and my husband. She realized that she had 3 days Right to cancel. We did the proper steps to stop the company. Now awaiting there reply on a 3 day weekend.Desired Settlement: We would like the contract cancelled as stated in the contract right to cancel.

I am rejecting this response because: I would like something stated the contracts have been voided/cancelled. Documentation/letterhead whichever you can provide confirming cancellation. And will not go against the house, taxes or lien the property at all. Also, have accepted the 3 Day notice cancellation that was dropped off at your business location. Thank You

Review: On 04/03/2015 I signed an agreement for roof replacement and was referred to [redacted]g company for a $14,2000 loan which was paid directly to EFFECIENT Energy Solutions, Inc. Review: I was told that [redacted] offered their services to have a water heater & furnace put in. I had them ubstalled. ([redacted] just said that they don't give companies the okay to call people that charge money). After a month,I heard a noise coming when I turned the water on. The manager implied that I was hearing things. When I had a friend that is a contractor look at the water heater, he said it was missing an elbow with a drain (and that was a state requirement). I've tried to get them to return my calls 6 times & have contacted two other people involved with the company (3 times) and no one returns my calls. I'm paying for the two through [redacted]. Guess the old lady (I'm 81) didn't check them out enough. Thanks, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want them to give me the courtesy of returning my calls and to put in the elbow and whatever it needs to satisfy an Inspector.

They never determined my energy usage, so how could they correctly size my system? They couldn’t, and they didn’t. This company installed a very small system on my home for a very big price. When I questioned the salesman about the small number of panels, I was told that these are the new high efficiency panels and I won’t need as many panels as my neighbors home. This company told me that the tax rebate that I get would cover part of the cost for this system. The amount I received did not even come close to figure they quoted. I have written two letters to this company, and none of these issues were addressed. They simply sent me copies of the forms I signed, (in good faith).

I trusted them, you should not. You have been warned, do not trust this company.

Do your own homework before having this technology installed on your home. Currently I am pursuing other more public venues in an effort to get this issue resolved, and to also try to keep others from being misled.
