Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Clearly this company tries to cover their tracks with lies I would like to email the Revdex.com copies of all text messages and emails which will completely show my recount of events is completely accurate Please provide an email to send these toAt this point the only way I am willing to resolve this issue is to have Efficient Transportation deliver my goods to my doorstep I will pay up to 110% of their original estimate, as outlined in the moving pamphlet provided that says they are not legally allowed to charge more than that on a non-binding estimateI will have a bank check, drawn from my bank, payable to them upon delivery The reason I want them to deliver my goods is because I highly doubt they have taken care of my belongings in a professional manner and would not waive their responsibility for damages Regards, [redacted] ***

The estimate of $was given to the client on 12/18/and her belongings were picked up on 12/27/ Even if items were removed from the list , as stated before price is based on space taken upThe deliver was not guarantee to be there on 12/31/between 2-pm , the client requested for 12/31/and the delivery was made on that date , she was also told that the driver will contact her a day before to confirm delivery time, which he didAgain as stated before the items that was left behind , it was explained to the client that it will take some time before delivery is made and as far as payment on delivery the client had to options Cash or Postal money order as stated in the contract( Please see attached file for the copy of the bill of lading showing the window for delivery, a copy of the sign over the phone estimate, copy of inventory and also a copy of the payment methods )

In regards to the difference between the quote and actual costThe estimator came out and assessed the volume based on the inventory discussed with clientClient noted that certain items were not goingSpecifically the box countThe box count was noted at about 40-as many items that were in question were to be left behind and sorted This detailed inventory was noted on a binding estimate form which indicated "cost is based on actual cubic ft, packing materials and services need"This is done in the event of a change in requested inventory or servicesIf the box count was sorted further for example , the inventory would be less, hence less volume and less costDay of the move, double this amount (box count ) was requested to be transported by client Client also requested full packing of the boxesBetween the change and inventory, and therefore volume and added packing needs, this led to the higher cost.Any other issues will be investigated and client will be updated shortly on any reimbursement , if deemed appropriate

As stated previously the client had additional items on the day of the move, which caused the price to change Paper work was mailed to Mr [redacted] from the claim settlement on his damagesOnce we receive the signed paper work a check will be mail to the client

The client submitted the pictures on May 16th 2016, the pictures were submitted to the insurance claim in the month of May , she was told that it can take up to day before a settlement is madeThe client was told several time that she will be notify once her claim is settledIt has not been days since the claim was submitted

The client contract us to move her from [redacted] , she did stated that she has about lbs based on the previous company who moved her to storageWe explained to the client that we don't go by weight and we will need the items she is moving because we price by CF (cubic feet) she did explained that she's been in storage for over months and she didn't remember exactly what she had in storage The sales person did explained to her that an inventory is needed and that when she gave a list of what she remembered On the day of pickup the client had more items than what was listed on the inventory she gave over the phoneSome items were repack because the plastic containers had no covers and some of the items were loose items that needed to be packedThe estimate changed because there were more items (Which the client clearly couldn't remember what she had in her storage unit) and the cubic feet increased The client was fully aware of the increase inventory and the price change

According to email records Ms [redacted] stated on May 20th that she been trying to get in touch with [redacted] , [redacted] Responded on May 21st explaining that she was out of the office on Vacation but before that time they was no email showing where the client tried to reach [redacted] , unless she called the office and was told that [redacted] was out of the office Every other time before that the Ms [redacted] and [redacted] have been communicating back and forth It's true that Ms [redacted] did not take certain items that was listed in her over the phone estimate but she did had other items that she added on the day of the pickupPlease see attached file with the copy of the estimate that was emailed to the client before the move (also going to explained payment methods) and also see attached for the inventory that was picked up on the day of the move (please note the difference in the amount of items that was picked up

Client did need further packing services (labor and materials ) than originally expressedOn the binding estimate it is noted that in this event , the cost is subject to change based upon a revised binding agreementWhile there were changes, we decided to eat some costs associated with this, as customer satisfaction is important o us Client received an initial discount of approximately $to appease any issues that they had during the initial moveWe were clear that this is simply to take care of any issues prior to pick up and that any further damage claim would be handled by our claim departmentThe claim has been submitted to our firm, and we have started a file on thisWe will gladly reimburse based on the asic coverage of insurance that client received complimentary with moveWe are unable however to offer full replacement cost as implied by client as this policy was never purchasedThe estimator explained that full coverage of insurance is additional and can be purchased through [redacted] , or the client can get a policy through their own homeowners or renters insuranceIt is unreasonable to ask for full coverage replacement when a policy of this nature was never purchased The claim is pending and we will update client ASAP on reimbursement once assessment is completed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [I will not accept any offer less than $ I need for the movers to cover for my wooden table which was never deliveredI paid $for that wooden sewing tableThe company's offer does not cover the cost of the table along with the damaged, broken items In the attachments you will find the order of service, binding estimate of cost bill of lading and the inventory listIn the inventory list the driver and I went through a run down of the delivered boxes, as you can see there are no checks next to some numbers] Regards, [redacted]

Efficient transportation Inc headquarters is located at 501 West Broadway San Diego CA 92101 and the local branch is located at 626 Rxr Plaza Uniondale NY 11556. The client did received his shipment in 2 different parts on two different dates because there were some mistakes made while... they were loading his shipment for delivery and we at Efficient Transportation did apologize for the mistake and for the inconveniences we did give the client a discount . We don't make promises , we work by our contract. The contract clearly states that the delivery window is 15-45 days and the client didn't not pay for an exclusive truck so therefore , his belongs were loaded with other client items that was put onto another truck not a third party. The client claimed he had missing boxes and some damages , he was asks to send pictures of the damages and make a list of the missing items, which was needed to process an insurance claim. The insurance claim was process and there was a settlement based on .60cent per pound for $300 , the client denied the settlement.
