[redacted] bought software that was installed on 8/27 & 8/28. Salesman stated money back guarantee. Printed on invoice: If for any reason you are dissatisfied within the first 30 days we will gladly refund your purchase price. After trying the software and attending a training webinar, it was clear the software did not meet our requirements, and did not have all the features the salesman said it had. I contacted our salesperson, [redacted] on 9/4 and asked for our money back. [redacted] said [redacted] (VP of Sales) must authorize this refund and that [redacted] would call me. When I got no phone call from [redacted], I e-mailed [redacted] two more times. [redacted] now says not only [redacted], but also the CFO must approve the money back guarantee. And [redacted] said it takes time. To date, three weeks after I requested a refund, I have not received a phone call or any contact from anyone at E-File Cabinet who is authorized to refund my money. If there is a money back guarantee for any reason as they stated, it should not take weeks/months of committee meetings to process the request. The fact that no one from the company will even contact me tells me the money back guarantee may be just a marketing tool and that it does not really exist. My IT company said that after the E-File cabinet install, my server went from 1/3 full to 3/4 full due to conversion logs and multiple back ups left on our server. It caused our back ups to not work properly and our IT provider suggested we remove unneeded files as soon as possible. Since I could get no help from E-File cabinet as to how to proceed, I hired my IT company to remove all of the E-File Cabinet files from my server, and we removed all files from the workstations as well.Desired Settlement: I want the company to honor its written money back guarantee and refund my full purchase price of $1140.00. Additionally, I want it done in a reasonable time frame, not to exceed 7 days from today.
