This is truly a sad situation in that trust is put into a company to memorialize a loved one and they deliver a substandard product and take no responsibilityThe conversations did happen and my expectations were knownA sketch is presented of how the lettering should beperiodWithout size font ect its worthless in the situation we haveWhere is there proof I approved the size font ect ? This is business taking advantage of the situationAll I have asked for is replacement or refund for a purchase gone wrong of a substandard monument so that I can have closurea caring compassionate company would make good on their productOne only has to look at what was delivered to do that [redacted]

Please find attached our rebuttal to the accusation once again. We are providing all the documentation and Mr*** is providing absolutely nothing to prove we were ever in the wrong

Egnor Monuments is responding to the complaint submitted by Mr*** *** ID ***.Concerning the memorial that we produced for *** ***, during the process of getting the information from Mr*** for the memorial there was never any mention of matching an existing memorial in ***
***Please find attached (1) the contract which Mr*** approved per a phone conversation with our salesperson, *** ***We also have attached (2) a proof that was sent to Mr *** and (3) the email that he sent back to Mrs*** that it looked good and he wanted it set when the ground had dried up from our winter stormsOur company notified *** *** once we spoke to Mr *** about the complaint and at no time did they tell Mr *** that “they were astonished that anyone would even have laid it.” The memorial was picked up at our office on 4/11/by *** *** and he had his men place it in the cemeteryAlso attached are the only pictures that we ever received concerning other markers (4)Notice they were emailed to us by *** *** from *** ***/***I also noticed the attachment that he sent you that we sent him for approval was from *** ***, not our companyUpon more speaking with ***, she told me she sent a design to Mr *** and forwarded the design to meIt is attached to this also (5)As many people that are not involved with monument production, they do not know the process of how the lettering and designs are actually put on the memorialThe process involves the design being cut by a plotter onto a rubber stencil, which in turn is glued onto the ***, the design is then “weeded” out of the stencilAfter the design is checked by two people from the contract that the information is on, it is sent into an automatic sandblaster to cut the design into the stoneThe design is painted with special paint for stone called lithochromeTo get the “shading” which is called frosting, the design is packed with mud after the paint is dry, then the stencil is removed from the area that is to be frostedThen it is again sandblasted to knock the polish off the stoneMr *** contacted our company demanding his money backHe never asked for a replacement monument, only a refundAfter telling Mr *** that his money would not be refunded, he made negative comments on social media concerning our companyWe would request that he either delete the negative comment or apologize on the same social media that he made the comment onAs noted on our contract in the upper left hand side it states “You may cancel this transaction, without penalty or obligation within three business days from the below date, by contacting Egnor Monument Works, Inc.” If Mr *** has proof that he sent us pictures of the existing monuments we will be happy to match the existing stonesHowever, as I stated before, there was never any mention of existing stones to matchAnd notice that the two existing stones in the picture do not match each otherThank you, *** ***/President

I have nothing to prove it is not what I was told I was getting it is not quality work.
