How disappointing.I have been bed-ridden a lot lately and my immune system is suppressed, so I'm not going out to installation sites anymore I had informed [redacted] of my illness, but I wasn't that specific. The Laundry room window is trimmed in an identical fashion to the the original windows in the house Our reputation is sterling - we install almost exclusively nice wood windows - and we do great work I have asked her to paint the trim - it will all look great when that gets done Our work is done on that window - we had re-trimmed it a second time after her first complaints about a non-related issue. The story about locks on the Loft window is new to me - we installed that window for them in phase one almost two years ago A malfunctioning window is the manufacturer's problem, and Andersen has a good group of local people here, but they certainly don't pay folks like us to work on their warranty claims They have trained and certified personnel for that I wrote the appliance allegory Maybe it was a little over the top, but I simply wasn't getting through to Monica My guy [redacted] has a heart of gold, and did fiddle around with the sash to see if it could be moved back into place I paid him for that time, though it was outside the scope of phase two and his reasons for being in the house that day.Our invoice is in her possession, and has been since the day the windows were purchased, for our Sales Agreement says "and Final Invoice" on it We don't change our prices, not once in years. We do have slow pay customers once in a while though There is no substance to her complaints, and certainly no dispute over money I've never put a lien on a house in my career I did ask that the phone calls and emails stop, that we not correspond The job has been done for a long time I've stopped wondering if we'll get paid But honest people usually find the money and get it taken care of

in the house. Our reputation is sterling - we install almost exclusively nice wood windows - and we do great work. I have asked her to paint the trim - it will all look great when that gets done. Our work is done on that window - we had re-trimmed it a second time after her first complaints about a non-related issue. The story about locks on the Loft window is new to me - we installed that window for them in phase one almost two years ago. A malfunctioning window is the manufacturer's problem, and Andersen has a good group of local people here, but they certainly don't pay folks like us to work on their warranty claims. They have trained and certified personnel for that. I wrote the appliance allegory. Maybe it was a little over the top, but I simply wasn't getting through to Monica. My guy [redacted] has a heart of gold, and did fiddle around with the sash to see if it could be moved back into place. I paid him for that time, though it was outside the scope of phase two and his reasons for being in the house that day.Our invoice is in her possession, and has been since the day the windows were purchased, for our Sales Agreement says "and Final Invoice" on it. We don't change our prices, not once in 17 years. We do have slow pay customers once in a while though. There is no substance to her complaints, and certainly no dispute over money. I've never put a lien on a house in my career. I did ask that the phone calls and emails stop, that we not correspond. The job has been done for a long time. I've stopped wondering if we'll get paid. But honest people usually find the money and get it taken care of.
