 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the statement of facts submitted by NCO is completely inaccurate.  I have been contacted numerous times throughout 2014 about the two defaulted student loans in questions.  Additionally, I have been contacted by representatives who have used menacing, threatening and intimidating tones that were totally unnecessary.  Just prior to sending this complaint to Revdex.com, I attempted to contact NCO to discuss alternatives and was transferred to three different offices -- two of which are the subject of the behavior I have described.  NCO's business practices should be investigated -- I am amazed that NCO would state in writing that they did NOT contact me about the loans and that I, in turn, contacted them.  I am sure they have records to the contrary.  This is NOT an acceptable response to my concerns .... not even an apology for the agreggious behavior of their representatives.  Apparently, I am dealing with a systemic problem that NCO chooses to ignore.

Review: I have been dealing with NCO Financial Systems Incorporated for a couple of months now due to a credit card bill. I have paid them monthly and I decided to ask them to settle the debt for me. I asked if I could have something in writing saying that I would be sent some sort of letter when it is paid and they refused until I paid.

I also told them that I needed a letter for my Air Force recruiter as soon as possible. I have since paid off the balance on 06/20/2013 and I am supposed to get a letter via fax. NCO representatives said they would put in the request as soon as I sent in the money. I have been waiting for this fax for a few days now and I have yet to receive it. I'm getting fed up because I am trying to enlist in the Air Force and they aren't giving me my letter. They took my money from my account, but aren't providing me with any documentation that they received it. This place needs to be investigated for their illegal practices and for blatantly lying to consumers. Please do something about this company because they aren't abiding my the law.Desired Settlement: I need them to send me my paid in full letter no later than tomorrow by noon.

Very truly yours,

Review: I am not disputing that I owe a debt of $2,970.16. However NCO Financial has continued to charge between 20-35 dollars per month to the debt. They refuse to stop the charges if I start a payment plan and have also refused to begin reporting the debt to the credit bureaus so that I can dispute the amount. They refuse to settle to the amount I actually owe. I would like the debt to be reported to the credit bureaus so I can dispute the amount or have the monthly charges stop provided I begin making regular payments.Desired Settlement: I would like the debt to be reported to the credit bureaus so I can dispute the amount or have the monthly charges stop provided I begin making regular payments.

Review: I have 2 NCO collection items showing on my credit report. I went to the website and located several erroneous numbers. I called one of the numbers in PA and was told by the representative there was nothing on her system showing that I had any collections. She gave me many addresses other than where I lived to attempt to locate these charges. She could not match my identity to any NCO account. She wanted my social security number and I reply, NO. She transferred me to another department. The phone call went to voice mail only.

I would strongly believe that these charges are for some one else of the same name, since the NCO rep could identify others with my name at different address other than my address.Desired Settlement: I need a full documentation of details of the charges showing dates of services, service type, bill to address. If these statements do not match, I am requesting a full and complete reversal of these charges on my credit report immediately.

Thank you
