EHR Incentive Registry Reviews (1)

Review: This company sent me an invoice in the amount of $6575.00 for a service that they say that they offered and completed and it's not true. The state of California is helping doctors to implement Electronic Health Records and they give an incentive that includes one first check for $21250.00 and about $8000.00 per year for 4 years. There are companies that help doctors in the process of obtaining the incentive since it involve a lot of different procedures online that we are not familiar with. EHR Incentive Registry identified itself as a company that helped doctors and asked us to sign an agreement where they just ask us to check "Yes, I would like to claim my EHR incentive Payment and I agree to the terms and conditions of the Incentive Assistance Agreement as outlined on website www.ehrincentiveregistry.com. You should receive your first check within 4-6 weeks". They gave me some instructions by email about websites (federal) that I needed to visit and open accounts in order to register for the incentive, I followed all instructions and kept waiting more than 5 months. By the 3rd month I started calling and asking why we hadn't received anything, they had someone named Sharon that said that we had to wait for the State because they couldn't do anything. We kept calling and receiving the same answer and other colleges of mine who did the process with a different company were receiving the incentive in less than 3 months. After 5 months I tried to call and they had disconnected the phone that they originally gave us: 760-351-6332. I sent emails and there was no reply. Then removed their name from my account with the Federal Government because they entered themselves as a company working on my behave, and when they realized that I did it, they sent me an invoice charging $6575.00 when they never disclosed that number and said that it would be $995. I called to the number in the invoice and argued with a person that said that he didn't know who I spoke with originally. They are deceiving doctors.Desired Settlement: I had to find another company that is serious about this and it's really helping doctors (www.erecords.com) I need EHR incentive registry to stop sending me invoices. They even put in the invoice that I received the money when that never happened and when I told the person who answered that how they are able to do that, he said that I had a contract and even if I look for another company to help me, I have to pay to them. They are deceiving doctors and causing problems (they connected 760 # back
