Review: I contracted E.I.C to build a webpage for my company. When we first began I explained to them very thoroughly what I wanted for the price they were asking for. They asked for 2 payments of $6,000: first payment upfront, second payment upon completion. For the money they asked for I expected an amazing job, but for the first 2 months we continuously went back and forth with changes to be made to all the webpage mock ups they kept providing, it was horrible quality. No better than the current webpage I had (that only cost me $700). The contents of the page they provided was ridiculously amateur at best, and when I asked if we they could change it they said it would be an extra cost, so I did all the changes myself (even though I was paying $12,000). They promised to build a website and landing page with a very specific design. When it became obvious that they could not deliver any type of design worth the money they charged I terminated their services and asked for a refund. [redacted] ([redacted]) said that I would not be able to receive any refund, not even the $6,000 that was suppose to be delivered upon completion, he specifically said "you can stop the project right now but you wont receive any money back". Once I threatened to pursue a charge back he offered to give me back only $6,000 and he would keep the rest. Mind you, all he did was make a few amateur webpage designs that was a copy of my current webpage since he couldn't create any good original designs. When I declined his offer and proposed to give him $2,000 (more then he deserved for the worthless job he did) compensate him for his amateur job, and my $10,000 back, he called me and was extremely rude... Kept talking over me saying I'm not getting my money back at all, that he's now going to keep every cent. Not only did the job not get completed, but when I offered to fairly compensate him for the job that he do (even though we weren't going to use it), he refused and decided to keep the full amount of $12,000!!! without even finishing 25% of the job! I am going to take legal action against [redacted]., E.I.C, I will take him to court for as long as it takes and fight to get my money back from this thieving company.Desired Settlement: I will compensate E.I.C ONLY for the work they provided, nothing more. They did not even get close to finishing the project, therefor they are not entitled to $6,000. As for the remaining $6,000, to be fair, I will pay for the work they did: Mock Up and Hosting (which we never used). Whatever the cost for this small amount of work is, That is what they will receive, nothing more.
