Review: I called this company about my problem with sediment collecting on the filter from the well which in turn alters the flow of water in the house. This was the second time I called.

The first time I called was last year. I called about sediment collecting on the filter which in turn alters the flow of water in the house. Someone over the phone told me I needed a pre-filter. The man who came to install it didn’t even check to see if that was what I needed to correct my problem he just installed a pre-filter.

A year later the pre-filter did not fixed my problem of sediment clogging my water filter so I called again. I asked if someone could help me determine why the sediment was building up on the water filter and if it could be fixed. The man on the phone said he would send someone out.

I thought they were sending someone to help me figure out why there was sediment on my filter from the well into my house. The prefilter they installed a year earlier for the same problem had no effect on my initial and ongoing problem.

According to the bill they sent someone out to my house to do a 7 point inspection. A man did come out to my house. he did not tell me what he was doing. He did not tell me what he was inspecting, the seven points he was inspecting nor did he tell me the outcome of the inspection of those 7 points during the 15 minutes he spent at my house. He couldn't tell me why sediment is collecting on my water filter.

In fact no one offered me an explanation as to what his purpose was, what the outcome was of whatever he did. I did get a water anaylsis but there was no explanation as to what it meant in relation to what was going on with my well the filter and the sediment.

I got no response to my question about the lack of result of the inspection and the bill. Nothing verbally or in writing about what the 7 point inspection results were and how it helps me with my problem. I was waiting for the results of the inspection and how they can help me with my problem before I paid the bill. They sent me to collections so I was forced to pay for something I never received.

This is the second time this company took advantage of me and my lack of knowledge regarding wells and pumps. First was the installation of a prefilter without even an evaluation of whether that was even what I needed. It wasn't because a year later I still have the problem and once again they did nothing to help me but they sure could send me a bill for it.Desired Settlement: I would like them to resolve any issues with the collection company. I would like my money back for something that not only didn't help my problem but I never even heard the results of what they did inspect.

Review: Eichelberger's replaced faulty wiring in the water pump, replcaed the pressure gauge at the internal water pump tank, and subsequently adjusted the water pressure in the system, on 6/3/13. Twelve days later, on 6/15/13, at about midnight, one of the water lines to the hot water heater, blew apart from its compression fitting, spewing much water over items in card box storage and over the hot water heater components. On 6/16/13, a plumber from [redacted] plumbing reconnected the water line and attempted to re-start the hot water heater. This failed. On 6/17/13, a plumber from [redacted] plumbing diagnosed that the Flame Vapor sensor and the gas control valve components of the hot water heater had been damaged by the water spewing from the blown water line, and needed to be replaced. Total cost for both plumbing visits and repairs, about $1,200.

Advised [redacted] at Eicehlebergers, via letter and phone call, that their adjustment of the water pressure in the house directly caused blown water line 12 days later. [redacted] said they are not reposnible. I advised [redacted] that home was new 6 years ago and there had not been one leak at hot water heater until after the pressure adjustment by Eichelbergers. He re-iterated they were not responsible and that I should conatct the builder that built the home 6 years ago.Desired Settlement: Eichelbergers should accept responsibility for the damage it caused to my hot water heater components and reimburse me the $1,200 out of pocket costs.
